Like Light Life

A light for human life is like a food, it is really important to our life, as a torch to help our eyes can look around yet help us to be able doing things for our life. Can you imagine how it would be a life without light ? our life could be the coldest thing in the world.

We can have light from from natural sources such as sunlight or moonlight, yet we still need additional light from lamp and talking about light and lamp, and what the conjunction with energy-efficient. Actually, here in my post, I want to share couple amateur tips for saving energy with lighting. Here are some of those simple ideas :

Optimize the use of natural lighting during the day, it is not just because the natural light nicer but it does more eficient. You can do this using translucent glass windows that can provide as much light as dozens of light bulbs during the daylight hours., you also can make the transparent translucent roof that radiates sunlight during the daylight hours.
Turn off all the lights just before you sleep, unless you are a nyctophobia , it would bemore efficient if you turn off the lights before you sleep. More precisely, turn off all the lights when you are not using it.
Use the TL lamps or CFL (Compact Flourecent Lamp) and avoid incandescentlamps. Because incandescent bulbs are less efficient, a lot of energy convert into heat instead to the light. and the rated life of a CFL ranges from 8 to 15 times that of incandescents. In fact, you can save more than 100K rupiahs on your electric costover the life of the lamp*.
You can do task lighting** concept which widely used in office buildings, in to your home lighting concept. The basic concepts of task lighting is used to increase illuminance on the reading area. To your home, you can Install track of recessed lights to illuminate your desk or the kitchen table where you do the crossword puzzle, and keep the ceiling lights off.

Those are four ways of things you can do to save energy with lighting. Actually, there are still many ways you can do, like buying energy-efficient lighting equipment, installing energy-saving floodlights outdoor, and many more.

The most important before you doing all those ways to save energy, make sure yourself that you really want to change. The thing before we change the world, we change the concept of ourselves. So we can like the light of our life.

Save Water Save Your Life.

Water, might be the most important thing in our life. Can you imagine if there were no water in this world ? We can have no food for more than five days, but we mostly impossible to live without water for three to five days*. Eighty percents of our body is water, that’s why we do really need water the most in this life. Not just for our body, but to this environment, for watering plants, for washing clothes, and many more things need water.

Many ways you can do to save water in your daily life. These are five of them :

When you turn on the water machine to fill your bath, pay attention on it. Do not ever leave the bath while you filling it, because the water maybe spilled out if you didn’t pay attention on it.
Test your water meter. Turn off all water in the house and look at your water meter. The meter should not rotate, iIf the opposite occurs, there may be leaks in water pipes. Check all your water bill to ensure there are no major surge in the use of. If those things happen to your water meter, do call.
Nowadays, there seems like no rainy season or summer, we nearly can’t predict when rain will come nor predict when the summer will come. So, when the rain come, we better absorb the rain water and use it for watering plants instead of complaining and getting mad because of it.
Do bring your own mineral drink water from home. It will not just save the water, but it save your money too.
Many people think brushing teeth is an activity that can be resolved quickly, that’s why most people often leave the faucet in open position while brushing their teeth. In fact, a number of 4 gallons wasted**. Is It is not that hard to turn off the faucet for a while, isn’t it ?

After you read post, I wish nothing but when you use water crazily, think it over again, there are millions people in this world still living with water shortages. Be smart, be save, be generous. Save water save your life.

USE YOUR LAPTOP WISELY

Notebook or common called as laptop, seems like a must have gadget for those who are students or officers. Either we all need this thing for making homework from teacher, doing office report at home, or just upgrading our prestige. No matter what laptop do for us, it is unbeatable we do need it.

Various kind of laptop from different brand sold in malls, electronic shops, or via online internet. We can have it from the cheapest one to the highest price, with different specifications.

Talking about laptop, and talking about efficiency of energy. I want to share what I have know in order we can still use our laptop yet keep doing go-green lifestyle (yes, I called go-green as lifestyle, it’s because I’m proud doing this go-green things, I want make it as a style of my life, and will do as best as I can).

Well, back to topic. These are things you guys can do related to electrical energy savings :

First, when you decide to buy a laptop, try to find a low electrical capacity. It will save your house electrical and of course will save your money.
Always charge your laptop’s battery until it reach 100 % before you want to use it. It’s not just save the electric, it does save your battery’s life, not to mention, it saves your money too.
Adjust the lighting and contrast of your monitor. Too high lighting and contrast percentage will spend a lot of energy.
Use a full black color as your wallpaper instead a colorful one also will save a lot of energy (it is believed to save more energy in CRT kind of monitor not the LCD one). Even a website powered by Google, which created by Heap Media fade to black with blackle. Blackle claims saving more than 700 megawatt-hours per year*.
Turn off other equipment such as speakers, scanner or printer when you finished using them.
Last but not the least. Add more RAM !! The more amount of RAM you have, the more your laptop will run better and it will surely make your laptop last longer.

Those are six things I have done with my laptop, which you can do the same to yours. Actually there are couple things more, like using energy-saving software program, but I have not tried yet, so I can’t say much.

From now on, let use your laptop go-greenly (greenly ? okay, I just made the word. I mean use your laptop wisely, it must be the proper word in dictionary). So, you can save your laptop’s life and the most important you save the energy. If I can do those things above, why can’t you ?

I Can Live Without AC

There is a friend of mine, who can't sleep without air-conditioner. She always turn on air-conditioner in her room, whenever she go to bed. I once asked her, why she need air-conditioner everytime she go to bed ? Isn't it enough by using fan only ? She answered, I don't know, I just feel better with air-conditioner, it's cooling the room different with fan. Then I asked again, "so you have tried using fan when you sleep before ?", she said "well, not yet". Soon after hearing her response, I'm like, what ? are you kidding me ? tryin to compare things that you never tried before ?

Well, I still can't get it. I mean, she has no idea exactly how does it feel sleeping with fan, but she confidently said air-conditioner was better than fan. What are you looking for by using air-conditioner ? a cold room to help you get a quality yet comfort sleep, right ? Fan is more than enough, i think, well, okay this is my personal opinion.

Actually there are many points I can show you all, why do I prefer fan than air-conditioner. Air-conditioner, more than 50% electrical energy consumption in homes is for the air conditioner (AC)*. It means that, using air-conditioner suck lot of money from your pocket. Not just for the electricity, but air-conditioner it self, buying air-conditioner is much-much-much more expensive than fan. After you buy it, you do still need routine maintenance services, which need much more money than fan, and all those money being sucked from your bank account. It will eroding your financial slowly but sure.

Okay, we have seen in terms of it's economic aspect. Now let we see it in terms of go green living aspect.The use of air-conditioner will produce chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs), an organic compound that contains carbon, chlorine, and fluorine, produced as a volatile derivative of methane and ethane, which contribute to ozone depletion **.

Yes, I prefer to not use air-conditioner, but then again it is your right to use or not to use air-conditioner in your home. Even though you will choose to use air-conditioner, there are still many ways you can do to use it wisely, for example leave the thermostat alone, keep the curtains closed, keep your air-conditioner out of the sun, etc ***. not just for you but sure for the world too.

The point, in my opinion, by not using air-conditioner, you become a hero. You have save your self, yet you save the world too.

Don't Bring Too Many Clothes

I love traveling so much. Let say this is my passion. I remember the first time I had feeling for traveling was on my early childhood. I was on my kindergarten back then, my parents took me to their hometown Sigumpar in North Sumatera, near to Lake Toba. I was so happy that time, my first time experience on a plane, my first experience seeing a place other than city I lived.

My heart on traveling continue up till now. For the last three years, I've been traveling to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and some areas of Indonesia, like Bali, Jogjakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Lombok, The Komodo National Park in NTT, Krakatoa Island, and many others. There was one time when someone asked me, why do I love traveling like very much. Simply I answered, because the world is too beautiful to not be explored.

Since I travel a lot, a lot of my friends asked me, what they should note when traveling. Actually, being a traveler is easy and simple. One of the most important things people should know about traveling is not bring too many clothes. Traveling is not like we're moving our household into a new place, it's about the experience it self.

Why do we have to bring so many clothes ? You don't want to pack and bring a too big bagpack rite ? You don't want waste your travel time just to taking care of your things on your bag, do you ? Get simple. Take a note, what's your trip is all about ? beach, mountain or what ? do adjust to your destination place and of course the weather. Do bring more black clothes than bright color. You don't need to wash your black clothes so often like birght colors, it means you save on your detergent to wash, which means that you save your financial.

Do re-use !! For example, if you traveling about 10 days, five clothes will be enough. You can use your first one in day one and six, your second cloth on day two and day seven, and so on. Instead bring many clothes, why don't you bring perfume, to avoid bad smell of your used clothes, so you'll have a good smell and people will not notice if you wear a cloth that have been used before.

Not only make your traveling more simple and fun, bring enough clothes reduce the excessive use of detergents and also save world water-supplies. Be a smart traveler !!

I'm Proud To Be A Cyclist

I remember when I was in elementary school, it's like 16 years ago. I was 8 back then, my first time learned how to ride a bicycle, my friend's bike, not mine. It took me more than three hours, before I finally made it to ride it by my own. I still remember, how happy I was at that time, and everytime I ride my friend's bike.

Now, at my 24 years old. The happy feeling because of riding a bicycle still the same or even more. Finally for the first time in my life, I can have my own bike. It started from last year, after couple times passing through Sudirman street on sunday morning, watching thousand cyclists riding their bike for the Car Free Day annual event (it's once in every two weeks), making it look like a big parade. Many cyclists from all over Jakarta come into Sudirman street with different types of bikes. It makes me think that it would be great if I have one and join this big parade every sunday.

In february 2010, after two months colleting money, buying the spareparts, working on it with my friend, finally my first ever bike was completed. I assemble my own bike with my friend, a fixie, white color, not so that great compare to those millions rupiah bike, but I do feel happy for having it.

Today, having a bike, not just for joining the annual car free day, but being a cyclist has become my lifestyle. This is my green statement. I'm happy doing this, eventhough many friends of mine saying that I'm a victim of trend, I don't care. They have no idea how many positive things that I can get from this, in addition to being happy, there are many benefits for our health by riding bicycle.

By doing a routine cycling, we can control and reduce body weight yet builds muscle and burns body fat. Some research also has shown that women who regular cycling will reduce the risk of breast cancer*. Riding for several miles does promote tension reduction and (usually) a feeling of well-being, in short, riding a bike is healthy, fun and a low-impact from exercise, not to mention it is a perfect energy-saving transportation.

Lot positive things I got from cycling, no matter what people will mocking at me for back in to retro, the thing is I'm proud to be a cyclist and will always be.

Sharing Is Caring with FOOD.

FOOD is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body, according to wikipedia.org. We all know that we can't live without food. It is really mandatory needed for us, humanbeing, to survive. Can you imagine how your life would be if you are live in hunger ? You may be happy now to have what-so-called well-fed parents or family. You might no need to think what you have to eat, how can you provide food for yourself, how can you cook the food, etc because of your rich parents.

Try to think back, have you ever throw your unfinished food ? when you have food served in front of you, and you just eat half from it and you just throw it away another half of it, while many people go to bed hungry because they have no food at all.

From now on, please, think before you eat. If you think you are not that so hungry, don't take too much food on your plate, so there will be no food left over and wasted or if you with your friend, it would be better if you ordered one portion food for the two of you. Don't forget starts to concern for those people who still living in hungry. There are many ways you can do, by donating, join as a volunteer for WFP or ONE organization, or you can just starts spreading the campaign, to STOP the POVERTY and HUNGER. Together we can, because Sharing is Caring.

Jakarta, more than just a traffic-metropolitan-jam city

Jakarta, as the capital city of Indonesia make this city as the largest. More than 9 million people live in Jakarta, with more than hundred new cars appear in Jakarta’s street each day, making it as one of the worst traffic jams city in the world. What would happen with this fact ? STRESS. Your mind soon or later become stress, and no other way to get relax but briefly escaped from the traffic jam and go for a short holiday trip.
Such as the philosophy of China, we all need yin and yang in our lives, and thank God for that, Jakarta has it’s own yin and yang for us to enjoy or to take. We may hate Jakarta for it’s crowded and traffic jam, but we can also praise this city for it’s nature beauty. There were thousand islands, located on north Jakarta, with it’s beautiful beaches. Two hours (approximately, depend on which island you want to visit) from Marina Ancol harbor or Muara Angke, will definitely make you forget the fatigue, the stress of Jakarta for a moment.

Where do you plan to throw away your stress and fatigue? There are Tidung island, Pramuka island, Untung Jawa island, Semak Daun island, Ayer island, etc. Let say going to Tidung island, many tour packages that offering to go to this island. You only need to spend about 300K – 500K IDR to have your two days-one night holiday, the more people the more cheaper you’ll get. With those amount money, includes return boat’s ticket from muara angke (or marina) to tidung, welcome drink, bicycle, accommodation, meals (once barbecue), snorkeling and boat for hopping-islands. Such a great deal right ? you can find about this package tour all over the internet. Google it !!

Feels not right traveling with tour package? Want to have more adventurous trip and more cheaper? why don’t you try to go backpack, build a tent and bring your own mini-stove? Give it a try. Go to Semak Daun island, an inhabited island, not really inhabited, there is one small family live there and maintain the island. It’s not a big island, you could do walking surround the island within only 10 to 15 minutes. The beach here is really beautiful, with it’s smooth white sand. How much money do we need to go to this island? Less than 300K IDR.

You don’t believe it? Let’s we counting now. Return ticket boat from Muara Angke is 70K IDR, which will bring you to either Pramuka island or Tidung island. From those island you can take ‘ojek’ a small boat to go to Semak Daun island which will cost you about 10K IDR – 20K IDR (depend on your bargain skill), but be sure to rent a snorkeling equipments there if you want do snorkeling, the rent fee about 25K – 35K IDR (there were no snorkeling equipment to be rent in Semak Daun Island). In Semak Daun, you can build a tent there and pay to the guard of the island (it’s up to you how much you want to give to the guard, but please do give a reasonable price, like twenty to fifty thousand would be fine). Doing hopping-island, will cost highly if you do it just by your own. The boat cost is 300K – 350K IDR for each boat, so you better share the boat with other people who do the same thing with you in Semak Daun island (you know, there is always another group or people who also spend the night and build a tent there). If you can get another 5 person with you, it will cost you around 60K IDR, lot cheaper. How about meals? Make sure you have your own mini-stove and food from home to be cooked , so you don’t need to buy anything in the island.

Let's assume that you'll in group of five persons. The cost will be 70K IDR + 20K IDR + 10K IDR + 35K IDR + 60K IDR = 195K IDR per person. See ?? you still can have a great time in this traffic-metropolitan-jam city even with low budget. Don’t you should feel like grateful instead complaining for being a resident of Jakarta?

Just had the longest backpack-trip (so far) - BALI

Hello WORLD.

What's up y'all ? Hope you all are better than before, coz that's what I had during the last two weeks. Yup, it was my traveling, my longest backpack-trip I ever had (well, so far). Thank God and the universe who've helped me makin this trip came true.

What was the great things about this trip ? Ahh,, can't tell you, but the TRIP it self was great. For the umpteenth time, I visit Bali (with two my bestfriends Eaz and Dheny), the island of God, the most beautiful island in asia, even in the world (according to DestinAsia magazine in 2009 and Majalah Travel + Leisure in 2009 and 2010). No doubt, bali is a great island with a lot beatiful beaches, beautiful traditional life, the architectures, and many more. Even two books will be not enough to describes how great Bali is, and I was like so damn lucky to have the opportunity to visit the island, again.

For this visit to Bali, I went to several places that I never been before. Exploring former kingdom of Karangasem building, in Karagasem, Bali. Now known as a beautiful park called 'Taman Ujung'. What I can tell about this place, a two-and-half hours distance soon will get pay off. Right after we reached the place. , the only word I kept saying was wow, wow, and wow. The best view from this place is from the top of it's area. You will have a deep-blue-sea-view right in front of you. I bet that you wouldn't even dare to hold yourself to not take some or lot pictures here. 11 - 3 pm would be the best time if you want to go to this place, with a three thousand IDR only for ticket entrance per person, the place highly recommended.

Little bit to the south, finally for the first time in my life I reached Padang-Padang beach. Well, actually during my trip two years ago when visiting Bali, me and friends stop by on the bridge right above this beach, but this time was really my first time to finally make my footprint on it's white sand. The beach is very close to Uluwatu temple and I'm telling you, the waves here are crazy. Highly recommended to those who loves to surf with their surfboards. A little note for those who love beatuy beache and calmness, the beach is not for you. The place is too crowded, the beach it self not that really great actually (well, even I admit it's better than Kuta). But hey, a recommendation is still a recommendation rite ? if you reach Bali, sure you have to visit this place. What's not to visit in Bali, anyway ? they are all worthy to get visited.

Besides the two places above, I also enjoy my time in Bali with friends to Kuta, Uluwatu Temple, BluePoint Beach, Sukawati Art Market, Bedugul Ulun Danu Temple, Tanah Lot Temple Beach, and last but the best is to my friend's house (not literally, it's belong to her sister actually), Budi in Denpasar. Spent most of the time in Bali there. Me, Eaz and Dheny were like shocked - with a lot amazed 'wow' words not more than 5 minutes after we hit the groundfloor. The house has two POOLS, yes, y'all right. One is a swimming pool, and another one is for billiard game.

Me, as personal, like envy in envious with the kitchen. It has a big refrigerator, a complete kitchen set, not only a complete kitchen set but also the food, and guess what ? it has a mini bar with a lot of beers and vodka (my favourite). The best moment that time was when we (me, eaz, dheny , budi and ivhan - sometimes budi's girlfriend also come to the house to join with us) had a dinner at the poolside. Really, at that time, I felt like I was in hotel. LOL, what a lucky rite ? I got a free meal + free accomodation.

So, total I spent 6 days in Bali from my total 15 days trip. Where were I the rest of those days ? Will tell you later. See ya.

More about the culture

I do love TRAVELING so badly, like frickin bad. That is the fact. I know traveling were my passion and will always be, I want to live by traveling more and more. No fucking way important where and which places. BUT - yeah there is always a 'but' word, shame on me. The more I travel, the more I know that what I want from traveling is not only looking for best scenery, not the beautiful beaches, not the great mountain or so-what-ever other beautiful places. It's more about culture. I want to deeply gettin into the culture when I traveled. Either to learn it, either for just to know it, anything, but I do really want get deeper into the culture.

I remembered that I always want to learn about tourism, due I love my country's scenery, so like superhero-wannabe, I always think that by majoring tourism I could explore yet promoting my country's tourism. Then again I ain't enroll the major, but now I do travel more and more a lot than before. Taking magnificence pictures of place that I visited, having fun here and there, now I realize that what I missed a lot is it's culture. I realized that I lack of involved to the people, their culture and even their daily activities. Specially an old culture, not the modern one. I believe every places have their own uniqueness about their culture, and I promise to myself to getting know about that on my next travel days. Doing what local community did, it's history, and so on, I want do those things from now on. I hope I can do it.

For what reason ? I don't know, well, it's not really that I have no reason at all. Actually, I think by doing those things will make myself to give more respect to this life, to give more respect to people who are came from different situation/culture from us and to give more respect to myself.

I wanna taste different experiences of traveling from now on, and I hope I can do it *crossed fingered*.

Cara lain menikmati SOYJOY

Setelah beberapa hari yang lalu saya menulis tentang manfaat apa saja yang ada dalam kedelai dan SOYJOY, bagaimana saya bisa menjadi penggemar, dan bagaimana saya menjelaskan bahwa kemasan yang bentuknya kecil membuat SOYJOY menjadi cemilan yang sangat cocok buat orang-orang dengan mobilitias tinggi, yang membutuhkan kepraktisan namun tetap perlu menjaga kesehatan badan.

Seakan tidak ada habisnya kekaguman dan kecintaan saya terhadap kedelai dan SOYJOY, kali ini saya kembali akan menulis tentang cemilan favorit saya tersebut. Kemasan yang kecil dan tinggal dilahap kedalam mulut, membuat nilai kepraktisan dalam mengkonsumsi cemilan yang mengandung tidak hanya protein, tapi juga vitamin dan serat - serat sendiri berguna tidak hanya sebatas sebagai pencegah sembelit dan memperlancar buang air besar, lebih besar dari iu manfaat dari serat dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol dalam darah (hiperchlolesterolemia), bahkan dalam studi penelitian yang diterbitkan Archives of Internal Medicine pada Februari 2011 menyatakan bahwa dalam 388.000 ribu orang yang diteliti dengan umur 50 - 71 membuktikan bahwa 22% orang dengan mengkonsumsi serat lebih banyak hidup lebih lama dibandingkan mereka yang mengkonsumsi serat lebih sedikit juga mengurangi resiko kematian karena kanker sebesar 17% pada pria - menjadi begitu besar. Tapi bukan berarti tidak ada cara lain yang lebih memanjakan mata dan rasa di lidah dalam menyantap kelezatan dari SOYJOY. Apa yang harus di siapkan ? tentu saja SOYJOY varian rasa apa saja (tergantung selera anda masing - masing, saya sendiri lebih suka rasa strawberry), es krim, biskuit coklat batang, kacang coklat warna, sirup kental dan jangan sampai lupa piring atau cangkir sebagai wadah.

Seperti terihat pada gambar disamping, beberapa bahan yang perlu disiapkan dalam membuat resep "es krim SOYJOY menyegarkan". Setelah semua bahan sudah siap. Silahkan ikuti beberapa langkah berikut :

- Ambil piring. Lumuri piring dengan sirup (bisa dihias sesuka hati). Kemudian letakkan beberapa sendok es krim diatasnya

- Letakkan SOYJOY yang sebelumnya sudah dipotong dadu tepat diatas es krim

- Kemudian taburi es krim dengan kacang coklat warna serta biskuit coklat batang. Tata peletakkan dapat disesuaikan keinginan hati. Terakhir, lumurilah "es krim SOYJOY menyegarkan" dengan sirup kental.

Selesai. Mudah bukan ? bukan hanya mudah untuk dibuat, hasilnya pun sangat lezat dan benar-benar memanjakan lidah kita. Inspiration

Being such a long time looking for inspiration (traveling for specific), verry easy to get impressed by people who do their travel and write down their experiences and something. Now I do remember, before Agustinus Wibowo and Trinity Traveler, I had my father, who in his life been traveling to southeast asia countries (according to my limited memory, he's been to singapore and malaysia). Yup, in fact, my inspiration is right in my own family.

I remember back then when I was a kid, still using white-and-read uniform (it's an elementary's uniform), I like to dream to be like my dad, being able to travel a lot. There was even a moment when I talked to my dad, saying 'I'll proove it, one day am gonna travel a lot more than you've been now'. No such an underestimated answered by my father, he soon replied 'Amin'.

Now, four days before his birthday. I'd like to say :

Dad, you know what ? I do really missed you. You are trully my inspiration, thanks for being such a great father to me. Please, do keep watch me, your son, 'coz there are some promises that I still try to achieve. It's for me yet for you. Happy birthday. - your son

Bangkok, for the first time.

been two months I do not post anything here, quite a long, long, long time. I'm gonna tell you about my story from Bangkok last year. My first ever experienced to Bangkok, Thailand on last October, 2010.

First of all, let me tell you the reason how could I have a chance to go to Bangkok, Thailand. To be truth, proudly I'm gonna say I won return tickets from AirAsia (along with another 10 of my friends) which made me possible traveling to Bangkok.

My first impression about this city 'oh okay, so this is it Bangkok ?', but then after spent my 5 days there, visiting wat pho, grand palace, floating market, pattaya, wat arun, china town, etc, soon I changed my mind about this city. The ciry is just great. Not for the city's view/tourist places, but more for it's marketing tourism. Two thumbs up I would give to this city. What I've seen in the city, IMO, not that so beautiful (I've seen more beautiful places in my country - not to mention that kuta in bali is just better than pattaya) but what do I really adore is almost every tourist places are so crowded with the tourists (mostly foreign tourists). I remember for a few past years, Thailand had such terrible periode for their tourism. There was tsunami in 2004, there was travel warning from 47 countries all over the world on may 2010, but hey, Thailand prove that their country is save to be visited, yet fun to be explored.

I stayed at khaosan road, and lucky me (also my friends) that was October 28th, so few days before halloween's day. Guess what ? From the date we arrived there were street party in khaosan road untill October 31, 2010. Full from 28 untill 31, I joined that halloween street party with my friends, what a great-great party I ever had. Fyi, I've never meet such this party in my city, so it made me so excited that day.

It was really such a great experienced for me. Traveling to Bangkok with my best friends for the first time, and enjoyed every each day there. Sometimes, I wonder, can Indonesia do about the same thing like what Thailand have done for their tourism ?

Words on Christmas

There's something bothering my mind on this christmas day. About mutual respect and loving each other among human beings. I can't imagine if there were people who can't do respect and love each others who have different belief, convictions or let say opinions with them. I can't imagine if there were people who still doing discriminate others for their skin color, ethnic or their social status. What I can stop thinking is, who are we to be judging others ? who are we to be discriminate others ? we are human beings afterall, who are sinners without exception. How can one or group of people can say say another are sinner (um, wait did I type the right form ? I mean more sinned) than another. Here I want to say what's on my mind :

Onced I heard quote sayin in Bahasa, it was 'Kasihilah sesamamu manusia seperti kamu mengasihi dirimu sendiri' or in English it was 'Do love your neighbor as yourself'. Well, manusia in English suppose to be human but for the sentence context here, it become neighbor and what I want to say you, human here is stand for human beings, ALL human. It doesn't matter what their belief or convictions, their skin color, their ethnic, their social status or whatever. We supposed to love, caring yet respect each other. Because, God never discriminate us human, why should we ?

That's it, two short paragraphs from me, you are welcomeable to like it or dislike it. I don't even care. Anyway, Merry Christmas for those who celebrate it, and happy holiday for those who are in holiday right now.

Be a Responsible Traveler

Everybody loves traveling, who doesn't anyway ? After months or years hectic with their office-hours routinity, people usually will find their selves need to traveling badly. Some will traveling domestic, some of them who have more money will go abroad to enjoy their travel time. Well, no matter where n how you will go to spend your relax time, one thing you must do is BE A RESPONSIBLE TRAVELER !!!

Being a responsible traveler here is about cleanliness. For about more than twenty times I traveled around the Indonesia and two south-east asian countries (thailand and vietnam which are very damn clean country). Sometimes I really feel ashamed with my country Indonesia - I've been to Bali, Yogyakarta, Belitung and other parts of Indonesia and I always found almost the same cases where people throwing their trash to the street (or even in the tourism object area) as like as them so innocent kids. Even my friends who traveled with me, I'll tell you, I onced ask a friend who littering his trash just like that to the street 'why did you do that ?', with feeling no guilty he answered 'I didn't see trash can near'. Can you imagine ? he blame for no trash can near the area. Have you ever guy thinks if Thailand and Vietnam can keep their countries cleanliness, why we can't ?

You guys can do couple things to be a responsible traveler :

- First, do not littering. No matter what style you choose while traveling, as a tourist or a backpacker. Do not even try to littering. Put your trash into trash can. Remember, any small trash that we throw will affect the entire world. It could bring flood and any other disaster. It is affect to global warming. In fact people who carelessly littering in a public will commited as a criminal offence.
- When you find there is no trash can near you, do put the trash into your bag first or your pocket before you can find the real trash can to throw it into.
- It will be good if you bring plastic bag everytime you travel. So, you can put your trash into it. BUT, remember when you find trash can, do not throw the plastic bag, remove only the content so you can re-use the plastic bag again next time.

Over all of those three points, one thing you should remember while traveling is 'treat the places you visit like your own home'.

Oh, I Miss You Saigon

Wohoo. Finally I'm back again, wait, is it been a year since my last posted or what ? yea I know it's only two months from my last posted, but really I feel it like been a long, long, long time me not post anything on this blog.

Now I want to tell you what did I got from my trip to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam) on last August. Before that, you guys must be remember from my last posted about my dubiety due will I go there alone by myself or my friend coming with me. So, you can say it was a good news or either a bad news 'cause I went to Saigon with my friend. We spent three days two nights in Saigon. I won't give the details story, I'll just give you some clues about Saigon.

First, If you're a backpacker and not sure about the security things and feels like 'Oh, okay First I really want to get my hotel safely', then you can go straight to the taxi reservation booth which located near to exit door. Yeah, the price quite expensive compare to if we get the taxi from the outside or going by bus, but again as I said before, if you really feeld the safety must come first. It sure the best choice. The price is around 170,000 dong Vietnam.

If you have no idea about which hotel with reasonable price and which one too expensive. Don't ever say 'yes' to your taxi driver's suggestion, those all bullshit. There are a lot of hotel with cheaper price than what the taxi driver will suggest you. To make it easy, when you get the taxi, just ask the taxi driver to take you to the area you want. For example, just ask the taxi driver to take you to Pham Ngu Lao street area, this area is similiar to Jalan Jaksa in Jakarta, it is a very popular area for backpackers around the world. Guarantee, you'll find plenty of cheap hostels there.

Buy packet tour to ChuChi Tunnel, it's a must-see spot in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh). The price of tour around 12 USD - 20 USD. Curious about, what Chu Chi Tunnel is ? Chu Chi Tunnel is proof that once the great country United States were overtaken by Vietnam in The Vietnam War. You can click here for details about Vietnam War and here for details about Chu Chi Tunnel. The time when you see this tunnel, you will find amaze with this country.

If you are a coffe lover, you should oh wait, you must try vietnam coffee. You can find in almost restaurant there or event a stree-booth food. When I was there, me and my friend is looking for a breakfast, so, we walked near our hostel and find a street-booth food seller. My friend is eating his vietnam-pork noodle, and me ? instead of having a real breakfast to fillin my stomach, I order a glass of Vietnam Coffee. There were the best part, I order a cold-iced vietnam coffee. At first I thought, 'euhhh, what coffee is this ?' but when my tounge start tasted the coffee, oh may, I can say it just like in heaven, the best coffee I ever tasted and you know what ? we can have a glass of coffee Vietnam with just only 6,000 VND - 8,000 VND, which is the same with 3,000 - 4,000 IDR or less than 1 USD.

Who is the sophaholic one here ? then, you should go to Ben Thanh Market. How you get there ? You can do walk from Pham Ngu Lao Street, but if you feel like tired or you not ready for sweat, you can choose taxi to go there. Ben Thanh Market is the biggest traditional market in Ho Chi Minh (or even in entire Vietnam). There are some tips if you do you shopping tradition. First, it will be better if bring calculator for bargaining with the sellers. More smile, it might help you to get best price. If you find the first place you came is quite expensive, do find to another shop, you can always find anothe shop attendant where it's easier to bargain. The point, just explore all the Ben Thanh Market, remember it is a big market!.
Fyi, Ben Thanh Market is open from 10 am untill 6 pm. If you missed the market at noon, you still can do it after 6 pm. There are plenty of fashion/food seller around Ben Thanh Market Street, If I ain't wrong the street-night market is open untill 10 pm.

Oh yeah, if you a kind of historical one. I think it's a good idea for you to visit War Remnants Museum. Located at District 3, Vo Va Tan Street. You must pay 15,000 Dong before you can enter this museum. You'll see a lot of pictures and replicas from Vietnam War. Tears will goes down from your eyes, err,,too much ? go yourself then, see, whether you'll cry or not. LOL.

Thats enough I think, I already gave some clues if you want traveling to Saigon a.k.a Ho Chi Minh City. So, what am I say about the city ? Not quite a big city like Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, but it sure give you a different atmosphere. City with large amount of beautiful city-park, city with various kind of great food, a citiy with a lot - lot - lot of motorcycle, etc. Somehow, you'll soon know what's will make you happy and feel 'yuck' about the city.

Can I or Can't I ?

Let make it quick. On this Monday, August 23, 2010 I have a flight to Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. I've booked the ticket last year along with my brother and my friend (and I got the promo fare, a very cheap one). So, it suppose to be three of us will be flying to Vietnam to enjoy our holiday but plan still a plan, it could happen and it couldn't happen too. The fact my brother just got his new job couple months ago, made him 99% for sure couldn't go with me to enjoy our holiday due his not able to get off from his work and my friend, hem, I do not know yet wheter he's in to this holiday or not, 'cause untill now He have not made his passport (fyi, we need two weeks long to make a passport). So, with those explanation, I have my own conclusion (at least for now), I think I'm going to do this all alone by myself.

The fact that I'm going to meet new people from other country with their culture, their language that I have no idea are freaking out my mind yet make me excited, off course the excited feel is more bigger. But, the truth, Yes I am ready to do this travel. So, guys, just wait for my travel report on the end of this month. I am so excited.

Tasty Time That I Just Tasted

Have you ever feel that like your life become so bored ? Like 'uh, I'm stuck and hate this condition, someone cheers me up please?' or like 'I hate to be alone in home, why did all people leaving to the mall without me? ughhh,,really it is sooo..arggghh'. So, have you ? if you never felt like that, lucky you, but if you felt those frickin emotion, you better cheer up 'cause I have one might very useful tip. It's really my very own experienced.

Once, about couple days ago, when I felt so bored while all my brothers and sisters were leaving to have their very fun time (I typed it with an envy feelings.lol.) to amusement park, well you can call its like Disney Land in Hongkong. That day I really had no idea what should I do. Angry, bored yet envy, all emotions mixed become one made me so frustated. As usual, or maybe it's just my habit, when boredom attacks me soon I must be have stronger desire to eat and eat just to make me feel calm. So, that day I opened refrigerator seeking couple foods to beat down to my stomach but there is food which really pull my attention with its very bright yellow-red color texted Tango Waffle Crunchox on its package. I opened it and put the waffle to my mouth, starts with tempted my tounge then crunchy when it met my teeth, really a great combination between crunchy and great taste. Soon after bite it all, my sour-like-younggrape face turn into sweet-like-sugar with a big smile on my face. I felt so happy after eating that Tango Waffle Crunchox, it works turn on my mood from level zero to ten and I'm in love at first bite with it. Seems like I really don't care anymore with the fact all my brothers and sisters are having a good time to amusement park without me.

Recap From Garut to ANYE

Didn't I tell you that last week was a long weekend in my country ? As usual, I went holiday, and this time Garut, West Java was my chose - well not me who chose the location actually it was my friend, Nuky who have the idea. I went to Garut on Saturday, while my friend Nuky left a fay earlier on Friday. So, my destination is Nuky's friend's house (his friend name was Taufik, but often to called by his nickname Opick) on Pesawahan, Garut Kota. The view was fucking awesome, the area surrounded by seven volcanoes, and it seemed Garut was the only one are in Indonesia which surrounded by seven volcanoes, isn't that awesome ? If you sayin' no, maybe the natural hot water pool could tease your travel-desires. Not only volanoes and hot-water pool can indulge our body and soul, but there are ten beacc for those who claimed theirselves as beaches-lover, or if you looking for another sensation you can be an impromptu farmer on rice fields there and so many other things we can enjoy in Garut. The location is about an hour from Bandung City or 4 hours from Jakarta.

What a bad was I didn't bring my Lumix with me. The camera still on my friend's CeCe, so this holiday less of pictures to show, wait-wait, oh yeah there are some photos from my corby, the only camera I have that time. Due I used my mobile as camera, it didn't accomodate many pictures caused of the memory limit, but then, like people always says it still better than nothing at all.

Thats it for my unplanned-holiday recap, now I'm gonna tell you something about my Idol, Agnes Monica. I've just got news from a very realiable source saying that Agnes Monica will soon launch her clothing line called ANYE . Hearing a word ANYE, you might rolling your eyes and curious yet feel weird of this word and say 'what the hell is the word mean ?' and according to Agnes Monica's twitter account, ANYE is how French say Agnes. For me, eventhough the name is too weird - specially for Indonesian ears well but the word is actually seems like hypnotize us to asking questions and forces us to find out about the word, isn't mean catchy-enough for a new brand right ?

The clothing line planned to be a something big, not an ordinary boutique like other Indonesian artist who only have one store and the stuffs came from buy and sell (you know, they buy dress or something from abroad then bring it to the country to sell on their boutique) but ANYE for sure (well, at least what Agnes Monica's management think) will be big as big as what P.Diddy has. A little bit explanation about the 'man behind the gun' of this clothing line, Agnes Monica. She's a superstar from Indonesia, her main career are as singer and actress. She started her career at the age 5 years old as a singer and keep maintained her career untill now, a very huge career in entertainment indutry is on her hand. Feel like not enough for the popularity-success in singing and acting's world, she is now on her way to launch her own clothing line, ANYE. Due to some reasons, I just got my time days ago to editing the template and posted some. My new blog name is MOTODIPOTO , its mean PhotographingPhotographed in English. Bermalam di Pulau Semak Daun, Kepulauan Seribu, Jakarta.

Hari Pertama : Sabtu, 15 Mei 2010

Akhir pekan lalu saya baru saja melakukan perjalanan ala backpacker bersama teman saya Reza Purnama a.k.a CeCe dan teman-temannya CeCe saat duduk di bangku SMA yaitu Dstya Adventyas a.k.a Lastri, Deddy Samuel a.k.a Juri, Nando Tampubolon a.k.a Nando yang baru saja saya kenal dalam waktu semalam. Perjalanan yang kami lakukan adalah mengunjungi Pulau semak daun yang memiliki keindahan akan pantai dan terumbu karangnya. Keberangkatan awal saya lakukan dari rumah gino tempat kami bermalam dan berkumpul menuju ke marina ancol. Waktupun menunjukan pukul 04.00 wib pagi, saya dan nando yang tidak tidur semalaman mulai membangunkan teman-teman kami yang lainnya untuk segera bergegas mandi dan siap-siap untuk melakukan perjalan ala backpacker kami (for the first time). Dari rumah nando kami menggunakan bajaj menuju halte busway terdekat untuk menuju marina ancol (sempet salah busway,sangking ga mau ketinggalan kapal pukul 07.00 wib)!! Sesampainya di ancol kami harus berjalan kaki cukup jauh sekali menuju dermaga (padahal ada ojek, tp kan temanya backpacker jd harus jln kaki,,aaarrrgghhh)!!!! Tanpa diduga reza memberhentikan salah satu pengendara motor dijalan untuk menumpang menuju ke dermaga tempat pembelian tiket kapal. Dengan seenak jidatnya dia, tas bawaannya ditinggal dan dia pun langsung pergi meninggalkan kita dengan sepeda motor. Sampai juga kami di tempat pembelian tiket dimana antrian yang panjang sudah menyambut kami.

Waktu pun menjunjukkan pukul 07.00 wib kami pun tidak berfikir panjang lagi langsung masuk dalam antrian karena takut akan kehabisan tiket kapal. Setelah menunggu sekian lama seorang petugas tiketpun berkata: tiket telah HABISSS!!!! Arrrgghhh,,ga munggkiiinn! Secerca kami berteriak!! Adanya ketidak patuhan dalam tata tertib penjualan tiket (Rp.32.000) di dermaga marina ancol membuat kami dan orang-orang yang kehabisan tiket geram. Bayangin aja, didalam peraturan tertera kalau tidak dapat mewakilkan dalam pembelian tiket terkecuali anak dibawah 10 tahun dan Lansia, tapi pada kenyataannya banyak banget yang satu orang beli tiket untuk 5 orang bahkan lebih. Keributan pun tak dapat ter-elakkan, nando yang katanya sang volunteer penjaga kali bersih (uppss.. maksudnya volunteer JakartaBersih) sangat geram memprotes petugas untuk menyediakan kembali tiket dan armada. Kami pun tidak pantang menyerah, tetap berusaha dan berada di dermaga marina ancol menunggu armada lain dating menjemput. 4 jam kami menunggu akhirnya datang juga kapal yang kami tunggu, langsung menuju pulau pramuka!! *fiuuhhh akhirnya berangkat juga..bye-bye Jakarta, bye-bye macet, bye-bye polusi.

Waktu yang ditempuh marina - pulau pramuka adalah (45menit) klo ga salah. Ditengah perjalanan menuju pulau pramuka kapal kamipun sering berhenti sejenak,dikarenakan banyaknya sampah yang menyangkut di baling-baling kapal. Betapa kotornya laut Jakarta,,Dan Akhirnya sampai juga kita dipulau pramuka, yey! Pukul 13.30 wib. Kamipun langsung menyewa snorkling dengan harga Rp. 40.000 dan perahu untuk pergi kepulau semak daun dengan harga Rp.300.000. Ternyata sebelum kepulau semak daun kami ditujukan kepulau air,,, pulau air adalah pulau kecil yang indah dengan hamparan pasir putih dan air laut dengan ombak yang tenang hijau jernih dengan dasar yang rendah sehingga sangat nyaman jika kita ingin berenang di sini. Sekitar satu jam kami berenang dan ber-snorkeling ria di pantai pulau ini. Coral-coral yang indah dengan habitatnya menjadikan saya merasa sangat menikmati pemandangan alam bawah laut. Dan tentunya mengabadikannya dengan foto-foto indah coral. Tampak bangunan-bangunan peradaban kota bawah laut dengan keindahan pancang-pancang karang yang merekahkan bunga-bunga karang berwarna-warni yang tersibukkan oleh keriuhan dan keramaian penduduk kota yang beraneka ragam jenis, warna dan bentuknya,, wooooww,,,goooddd,,indah tiada duanya!! Dan tak terasa waktu di jam tangan si juri sudah menunjukan pukul 16.00 wib, yang berarti sudah sore dan semua harus istirahat. Kamipun melanjutkan perjalanan kepulau semak daun. Di sana tidak terdapat resort/hotel/cottage/penginapan apalah itu namanya, jika ingin tinggal di sana anda harus membawa tenda/sleeping bag/camping dan hanya membayar Rp.50.000/terserah berapa lama bermalam dibyr ke penjaga pulau. hanya ada penjaga pulau saja yang menetap disana. memang tempat yang indah dengan pasir putih yang lembut dan tempat yang benar-benar nyaman untuk bermalam.

Karena hari sudah sore kami segera mencari dan menyusuri pulau semak daun untuk
mendirikan tenda. Dan Tenda kamipun akhirnya berdiri walaupun seadanya! Sunset yang (mungkin) begitu indah tidak kami lihat karena terlalu sibuk dan letihnya berurusan dengan tenda dan segala macam atribut kekomporan dan masak memasak. Hari sabtu yang bagi sebagian besar anak gaul jakarta dihabiskan bermesraan dengan para kekasih mereka masing-masing pun lewat setelah kami habiskan dengan bermain kartu dan sedikit bumbu-bumbu lawakan dari kami masing-masing.

Hari Kedua : Minggu, 16 Mei 2010

Jam 5 pagi, saat saya, juri dan dstya mungkin (lebih tepatnya memang iya) ngiler dan terpejam kedua mata kami, saat itu pula terdengar samar-samar perpaduan suara indahnya kicauan burung dengan suara hancurnya obrolan kedua perjaka (amin) CeCe dan Nando yang sedang sibuk memasak dengan kompo hasil pinjaman dari temannya si Lizy. Setelah dengan perut kenyang akhirnya mereka berdua membangunkan kami bertiga yang masih setengah sadar didalam tenda untuk sarapan dan bersiap karena jemputan perahu akan tiba jam 7 pagi, dan yeah, disinilah sialnya kami semua. Karena terlalu sibuk dengan urusan perut dan membenahi tenda juga tas bawaan kami masing-masing akhirnya SUNRISE pun terlewatkan lagi. Hebat bukan ? (arrrgggghhh,,,teriak). Sembari menunggu kedatangan bang Sangin si pengendara perahu yang menjemput, kami berlima menjadi satu, loh-loh kok jadi kaya lagu kartun jaman es-de y ? Oke, balik ke cerita, kami berlima yang sudah rapih, wangi (walau tidak mandi) langsung dengan sigap mengelilingi pulau Semak Daun untuk mencari angle-angle spot terbaik untuk photosession.

Delapan lewat sepuluh menit kami pun menyelesaikan photosession dengan terpaksa karena waktu yang sangat terbatas mengharuskan kami untuk naik perahu agar sampai ke pulau pramuka sesuai jadwal, yang tentunya didahului dengan menyinggahi pulau air kembali dan juga pulau keramba, tempat penangkaran ikan hiu dan segala jeni ikan lainnya. 8.45 perahupun merapat diseberang pulau air,,kami satu persatu melompat terjun bebas ke laut yang jernih. Kemudian saya, CeCe, dan juri mencetuskan untuk berlomba berenang menuju pulau air. Sesak terengah-engah kami ber-3 sesampainya dibibir pantai pulau air.hahahahaa,,,setelah sejam kami bermain-main dipulai air kami melanjutkan ke penangkaran hiu dekat dari pulau pramuka walaupun hujan menghadang kami. Sampailah kita di penangkaran hiu,,woooww,,indahnya berbagai macam hiu terdapat di penangkaran ini. Selain hiu, juga terdapat penangkaran ikan bandeng, lobster, kerapuh, kakap, dll. Tidak hanya melihat jenis-jenis ikan, tetapi kita juga membeli dan memberi makan langsung ikan-ikan tersebut. Karena waktu kami sangat terbatas kami segera melanjutkan perjalanan pulang menuju kepulau pramuka.

Pukul 10.00 wib tiba di pulau pramuka langsung bergegas ketempat pembelian tiket dan terpampang “TIKET KE MARINA HABIS” ooohh myyy gooooodd!!! What should we do, God?! Sedangkan keberangkatan baru ada lagi keesokan harinya. Ga mungkin kita pulang keesokanhari dikarenakan persediaan pangan dan uang yang sudah menipis, well, lebih tepatnya sangat menipis. Akhirnya kami saya mencoba ke dermaga untuk mencari alternatif perahu lain dan pucuk dicinta ulampun tiba *kalau kata pepatah* , ada seorang bapak mengajak kami “ayooo-ayooo naik keperahu”. Kami bingung kapal itu menuju kemana. Bapak itu berkata “ayooo,,muara angkee,,muara angkee,,,” kami langsung mengikuti rombongan didepan kami menuju kapal. Senangnya sudah berada didalam kapal. Butuh waktu 2 jam untuk menuju muara angke (1 jam 15 menit lebih lama dari keberangkatan awal). Cukup ekstrim juga menggunakan jasa kapal ini, kami layaknya imigran gelap yang ingin menuju suatu daerah tertentu berbasah-basah ria, blum lagi asap kapal, dan suara bising dari mesin kapal. Ditengah perjalanan hujan dengan lebatnya mengguyur laut Jakarta. Kekhawatiran muncul dibenak saya bagaimana apabila kapal ini dihantam ombak yang sangat besar dan dikapal ini tidak disediakan pelampung…ohhh tuhaaannn,,,maafkanlah hambamu ini ya tuhaannn (dalam hati saya,,uhuhuhuuu). Merasa bosan dengan suasana kapal dan laut yang diguyur hujan lebat kami menghabiskan waktu dengan bercanda gurau dan tidur pastinya. Jam menunjukkan sekitar pukul 13.00 wib, grimis! Akhirnya kami sampai juga di muara angke! Sejauh mata memandang hanya sampah saja yang bisa saya lihat, bau yang menusuk hidung membuat perut mual. Ini kali pertama saya berada di muara angke. Tidak tahan dengan kondisi seperti itu saya berkali-kali muntah. Dan segera mencari angkot yang menuju grogol,,,dan kami menggunakan jasa bus sampai daerah asmi - pulomas dan dilanjutkan dengan taxi sampai kembali di rumah nando.

Being a Backpacker

is not easy yet not too hard

Next week, I will go to Semak Daun Island, on Thousand Islands, Jakarta with my highschool's friends. We dealed to make this trip as a backpacker journey, and due all my friends never doing backpacker journey like this before so they asked me to arrange and make the itinerary for this trip. They told me 'You know what, we never did this before, so its our first time and we know nothing about backpacker stuffs. What we should do ?'.

I know I'm not expert on this thing yet, but at least I want to share what I know about backpacking, which I hope will be useful for my friends and those who need to know about it. Well, here are few tips from me :

1. Observe. First thing you should do when you decide to backpacking to someplace is observe. Find out about the place you want to visit, what is a plus and minus from the place, how to get there - transportation, where to stay - accomodation, etc. By observe the place, you'll know what you have to bring and you'll know what you have to write on for the itinerary.

2. Be Brave. You can't go backpacking if you still affraid of many things like 'Uhm, where do we will stay there?' , 'How we get there?', 'What if the budget far from our estimates?', 'What if we lose our money while we go there' , and others what if questions. All I can say is be brave. Just remember that human will try their best effort to get survive, its a nature law.

3. Be Strong. I hate when backpacking with person who always complain about anything. Complain about long walking on feet, complain about the food, complain about place overnight, etc. If you are too tired to walk far, If you hate or can't eat bad food, If you hate to overnight on a place with dusty all over it, If you are too worry about the heat of the sun and coldness at the night then you shouldn't go backpacking. Being a backpacker is to make us strong, so just face all the condition, do not complain.

4. Don't Be Shy. Don't shy to ask directions from people if you get lost. Don't be shy to do an impromptu job while you traveled and lack of money to afford your days. If it needed, you can put you shyness at home first when you want go backpacking.

5. Be Generous. Generous here mean in any aspects. Generous to natural environment and also to humanbeing. For example, always bring plastic bag while you backpacking to put all your trash during your trip untill you meet the real trash can. Don't forget to help people who need a help. Being a traveler with low budget doesn't mean make you to be a selfish person. When you meet poeple who needs your help so much, try to help her/him, try your best. In my life, I do believe with karma, so if you put a good point to others then you'll got the good points too from others on our days in the future.

6. Wise With Money. Yup, due to backpacking is a low budget traveling, so, we have to spend every cent of our money wisely. Try to find anything (like transportation, overnight place, etc) with the lowest cost. Be frugal.

Thats all from me and one thing for sure, just give it a try. Once you traveling with backpacker style, soon you'll know whether you fit become a backpacker or not.

hanya impiankah ?

Untuk postingan kali ini spesial menggunakan bahasa tercinta saya Indonesia (ya, walau bukan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang baku). Sedikit banyak saya mau membahas tentang Jakarta dan segala kekotorannya (dalam arti yang sebenarnya) yang ada. Mungkin udah gak terlalu asing mendengar kalau Jakarta itu termaksud salah satu kota terpolusi terbesar di dunia dan pasti sudah gak asing juga kalau berjalan ke sudut-sudut kota Jakarta akan selalu menemukan sampah berserakan dijalanan. Karena saking banyaknya sampah yang ada di jakarta sehingga ada beberapa daerah di Jakarta yang menjadi langganan banjir ketika hujan menghujam kota megapolitan ini. Kotor, tercemar, terpolusi atau apalah itu sudah pasti bukan suatu hal yang patut untuk dibanggakan bukan ? Terus ? Mau berdiam diri saja menikmati 'tontonan' sampah-sampah yang tergeletak di kota ini atau mau bangun dan mulai melakukan perubahan ?.

Ingat, banyak sekali hal kecil yang dapat kita lakukan untuk membawa perubahan besar untuk kota Jakarta ini dari kotor menjadi Jakarta yang diidamkan semua orang, bersih. Ini dia beberapa contohnya :

1. Mulai kesadaran dari dalam diri sendiri untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya.
Jangan jadikan ketiadaan atau kurangnya tempat sampah di sudut-sudut kota Jakarta menjadi sebuah alasan untuk dapat membuang sampah sembarangan. Jadilah warga yang pintar dan bijak, selalu bawa kantong plastik kemanapun anda pergi untuk membuang sampah yang kalian hasilkan sampai anda menemukan tempat sampah yang sebenarnya. Itupun ada satu hal yang perlu diperhatikan, kantong plastik tersebut tidak boleh ikut dibuang, buang saja sampahnya kemudian kantong plastik tersebut dibawa kembali kerumah, dicuci dan dibawa kembali untuk keesokan harinya jika beraktifitas diluar rumah lagi.

2. Belajar untuk bisa memisahkan antara sampah organik dan non-organik.
Ya, untuk dapat membuang sampah pada tempatnya saja memang sudah bagus, tapi itu tidak cukup baik untuk merubah kota Jakarta ini. Mulailah belajar untuk membuang sampah-sampah yang ada berdasarkan kemampuannya untuk dapat didaur ulang. Pisahkan antara sampah organik dan non-organik.

3. Hemat.
Jadilah orang yang hemat dan bijaksana. Bijaksanalah dalam menggunakan produk berbahan kertas (contoh: bila meggunakan kertas photocopy dikantor, jika memang masih bisa untuk photocopy bolak-balik di kertasnya maka gunakanlah). Hematlah dalam penggunaan tissue toilet, Bila membeli sesuatu berbahan plastik, lihat dan gunakanlah bahan yang memang diciptakan untuk bisa dipakai berulang-ulang.

4. Beritahukan teman.
Jika saat diri sendiri sudah dapat disadarkan dari ketidaktahuan tentang sampah menjadi tahu, mulailah menginfokan hal tersebut kepada teman maupun sanak keluarga. Bagikan ilmu mu kepada orang lain tentang bagaimana cara membersihkan kota Jakarta ini. Semakin banyak orang yang tahu dan mengerti, semakin besar pula manfaat nyata yang akan segera dinikmati dari kota ini.

5 - 100. Dan lain-lain, dan lain-lain. Masih banyak contoh lain yang perlu diperhatikan, diingat, resapi dan dilakukan demi mendapatkan Jakarta yang bersih, indah dan nyaman. Be Creative, Be Smart n Be a Garbage Warrior.

Ingat kalau bukan kita, siapa lagi yang akan membersihkan kota ini ? Jangan menunggu orang lain bertindak, lakukanlah dari diri sendiri. Ini saatnya kita bersatu untuk membersihkan kota megapolitan ini agar menjadi lebih nyaman untuk kita tempati. Hello my name is Aly and I am a fashion designer living in New York City. I like to blog about the many exciting things going on in my city from activities and eating, to fashion and all things bridal. There are many great things about New York City, but my favorite are the many cheap and free things to do and the fact that it is can feel like a quaint town.

Despite the fact that this is one of the most expensive cities in the world, there are plenty of cheap and free things to do. Everything from kayaking on the Hudson River to access to a free island called Governors Island. In one day you can learn fencing in a park and take a ferry to see the Statue of Liberty, all for free.

And while there might be 8 million people that live here, on any given day, I am likely to run into someone I know all over the city. So it makes this large city feel like a small town.

I hope this helps give you a little insight into my home and favorite city!

First Day as Volunteer

+ Lucky Moment

10.30am, Sunday, April 4th 2010 - was my first day as Volunteer in Animal Shelter (dogs and cats), Pejaten Shelter. Its located at South Jakarta, Pejaten Barat No.45W. The owner of the shelter is Doctor Susan. I really amazed when I step my feet in to this shelter, I saw so many dogs and cats that treated by dr. Susan there. From the very good health dogs and cats to the the most poor condition of them. One word that I kept saying to what dr. Susan have done is 'WOW'. I can't imagine it, its non profit shelter and she just doing all those with graceful and full of love.

I learned so much about dogs and cats 'problem' from her. She said, its really important to keep fight in order Indonesian goverment make a law about animal/pets. Its really sucked to know that overpopulation about dogs and cats are keep continuing till now, but Goverment do nothing for this. They not trying to control the population. She said 'you know ? in america when people want to keep a dog or cat, they have to pay a tax for it, and the most need to underline that they have a law about it. When goverment find somethings wrong with the pet, they will interrogate the Master.' and dr. Susan continued by saying '..its like big stress to think about the fact out country have no law for pets, even a small country like Singapore, they have it'.

Not only discuss about dogs and cats, but I also cleaned the cage, gave them a drink, etc. All things I have done that day was really-really meanful to me. It made me more understand about dogs and cats, how to treat them right and really help me before I'll get my own dog next month (from my bestfriend, Destya) - I hope with what I learned from the Shelter I'll treat my dog with proper treatment.

Okay, thats it my story for now. I'll tell you more on my next visit to th shelter. Oh yea, almost forget, I bring gifts from my first trip as volunteer. I took some pictures of the cats and dogs, here they are :

One more lucky moment (luckiest maybe..) thing..when I were on my way home (by bus - transjakarta bus) I saw a very-very beautiful sky with its sunset. The sky color was a deep yellow - orange with a little black. It was really-really the best sunset I've ever seen in Jakarta, remember Jakarta, a big poluted city in Indonesia. So I made decicion to stop even I'm still a long way from my home. Thanks God, I made the right decicion. Its like a very rare for us jakarta folks to get a good sunset view, but this afternoon I got this beautiful sunset, made me as if I were the luckiest people to have opportunity to captured the view.

Precious Moment With My Grandma

Yesterday night, probably the greatest moment I ever had along with my grandma (the 97 years oldwoman). We talked, sang some songs yet laughed together - actually we shared the moment with my mom and my brother too. The best part of our best moment last night actually when we laugh so loud untill hurt our own stomach, but it looks like because of my stupidity so I forgot to record her laughed lastnight - I only recorded when my grandma sang a song in batak language (its one of hundreds traditional languages from Indonesia, from North Sumatera province).

There was a conversation made us laugh so loud was when she told me - the original words are in batak language -

'you know (the most funny moment), when I was young around high school years I used to be a bitchy crazy yet tomboy girl. to her) 'Wait,,its like you mocking me by going to say I'm a crazy bitchy oldwoman now?'. Right after she said that, me, my mom and my brother get along with her and made a big-big-big laugh. (it was 11.30pm at that time).

She said, what wonderful life. Its been long time since my last laugh. She said thank to me to make her laugh and happy. I do really amaze with what God can do to humanbeing, He can give a longlife age to my grandma so I can enjoy my time with her, really thanks to God for this gift.

First idea came from Australia and quickly spread around the world. What we can do to support this social campaign ? where we can do this campaign ? etc, think you need all information related to this Earth Hour, just click on to Earth Hour , choose where is your location, and the site will show you all about how and what.

Anyway, please don't see this campaign cynically. Don't tell that how can an hour save whole world energy, don't ever think this campaign is useless, or another sarcastic opinion. I know, well I can tell you that we all know it will take more than an hour to save world's energy and to reduce global warming. But hey, this is campaign, its a symbolization of saving world's energy. You can do more than an hour, we'all can do it everyday in fact you can back into primitive age when use no electric stuff at all. Answering to those sarcastic opinion telling this is useless campaign, I'm gonna ask them, are they update to news around the world, are they know how to googling or something, if the answer yes, then they must read about what success did Earth Hour has brought from previous year. Its a big result indeed. So, please dont underestimate an hour campaign.

Well, lately I'm about more and more in love with photography stuffs. With my curiosity yet my wanna-be photographer style, I always carry my digital camera in my hand - almost every step I take, I always bring it (too much ha ? LOL, yap, I think its too much). You all must say I'm an autistic person, who always hand the digital camera in my hand and keep taking pictures - but again, who cares 'cause I like it (at least for now).

Here are my shots. The first is pancake which made by my self, well probably it was the best pancake I ever made *. Second picture is Skybuilding in Central Jakarta called 'Wisma BNI 46' *, the building shaped just like a blue pen.

I just watched this movie yesterday (you can call me outdated, but hell yeah I dont care) on national channel here. I have to say the movie was well directed by Clint Eastwood yet with great acted by Japanese actor Ken Watanabe, and I can say this movie was GREAT movie. But I wont talk about the synopsis, how many awards earned, what movie-critics said. Here I want show how the words spelled by Baron Nishi (when he read the letter from the mother of Sam '..and always do what's right because it's right' amazed me from the time I heard it 'till now I post this. But then, I kept thinking and questioning myself, what's the right thing to do in life ? if do thing what most-people think right is the essential of 'right' word ? or it just go thru what you think right is the right thing ? If I may add couple words between, I'll change the quote become '..and always do what's right for you because it's right (at least to your self)'. 'Coz for me, theres none know what's right for us better than ourself.

Actually, we (BOLANG) did it again.

Its been more than 30days I dont blogging. Some of my friend ask I had stopped with blog stuffs or something. With my current posting let me clarify that I'm still on with my blog, and will always blogging. It just about the right moment for me to put some posting, I don't feel right if I do blogging anually when I have no feel for it, just to avoid boredom in blogging (well, in fact actually i found my self almost in my boredom situation about blogging stuffs).

OKay then, for this posting. I would like to write-down my full report (in pictures) about my backpacking-journey to Belitung - Indonesia with my friends Bolang (which are Eaz, Putri 'n Icing). First of all, maybe you've read my previous post titled It Doesnt Matter... about me and my friends planned to backpacking to Belitung and you know what ? It feels like a dream come true. I did it, no, I mean, we (bolang) did it. We were there for about 5 days. So much joy and happiness happened there and I think there are no words can describe how beautiful belitung are, with those clear deep sea, white softed sands, yet odd-shaped stones at each beach.

City Tour Museum

This morning, I had a great city tour with my brother and my cousin to museum. Yup, its museum. Its been a long-long time for me to visit museum, wait, its about 2 years ago I think. You must say, what a freak tour I had, okay thats fine even you called me as 'an-oldschool-man' - so what. But for sure, it was a great tour, I learned yet had somefun in the same time. We visited 4 museums this day (location around old citiy are, west jakarta).
first was : Museum of Bank Mandiri (picture no. 1 and 2), then Museum of Bank Indonesia (picture no. 3, 4 and 5), and last was Museum of Wayang (picture no.6 and 7) :

Shocked. Thats first impression when I saw her in the movie 'Bob Funk'. She has less than a minute role in there and the best part is she speaks some Bahasa (Indonesian language) there. Its an honor for me (specially for entire Indonesia, maybe) having such a wonderful 'little' (little mean she has tiny body) girl in a BIG hollywood. Yes it is. I admit that she still can't be compare to another Asian actresses/actors who had big name in hollywood like Zhang Ziyi, Rain, or even Jackie Chan, but I'm preety sure she'll get this big on her name in hollywood. Her name is Tania Gunadi. You can googling it, and you'll find more about her and her acting-resumes.

whether they gonna underestimate my plan or not !!

Well, actually I've been in this situation before, where people underestimated about my travel-destination-plan. You know, the story about me and my friends went to Bali, such a lot people around us rolling their eyes when we talked that we're going to Bali to have some fun as a backpacker. Well, not only rolling their eyes, but they even laugh their fcukin mouth on us. Its like as I remembered, there are one-or-two told 'Hey dude, watched out, dont let yourselves became a totally begger in Bali by bringin less money for your trip'. Then, me and my friends are just got laught hearing that advice. Yea,yea, let they say what they want to say. Let just stick into our plan, then proove them with a pictures. Finally we made it. Seems people who underestimated us like 'Wow, you guys made into Bali ? I can't believe it'.

And now, its like dejavu for us. Again, we (actually now, its only me and mybestfriend Eaz who got those what we called 'backpacker-spirit) had planned this trip like morethan 8 months, exactly right after we home from Bali. Trying to ask more people to come with us, we told our friends about this since the year still named as 2009, on June. But people kept underestimated and said 'yea, keep planning these-those things, its look like going to be happen, dont get too excited first', 'are you guys serious only bring on a million IDR (its around 103 bucks) to go to Belitung,?', and another disparage words on us. But hey, we made to Bali, why Belitung sounds like impossible. I can doit, we can doit again. Just about the time when we definitely will shut their fcuk up.

Its because theres a sentence I knew and I love very much (its taken from Indonesian singer here called Saykoji) which tell 'Whatever they say, My determination will not disappear' .

15 Days Recap : back from long holiday :

Hello all, its me, back from my long absent blogging. Its been 15 days for me not blogging, feels like a year for me. Hate the situation, no internet connection (due to have no money to refill the pulse. LOL) seems like part of my life were gone to heaven, I cant browsing, I cant full into Best of 2009 Blog Challenge and somanyother bad things. But, hey, its me, already back to my world, to my blog, there's no need sad face again (anyway, its my 100th posts), lets make it into a big-big-big smile and laugh.

Here, I want to write a full (or half) recap about my long-lost-blogging. Can I start now ?

First, my Christmas eve. I spent my Cristmas eve with my brother - Elyas, my sister - Maria and my brother in law - Capluk. We went to Pasific Place, Sudirman, Jakarta for evening prayer of Tiberias Church. That was my first cried-moment in a Christmas eve. Yea, its up to you to call me cry baby, but I'll not be ashamed to admit it 'i was cried'. When choir sang 'Silent Night', suddenly memories about my father came into my mind. Lot things came to me, such like, why he died, when will I fulfill my promise to him, did he love me or not, etc. But, yet, it was a great Christmas eve I had, dont u think the same ? spent Christmas eve with family, wasn't it a great thing ?

Second, karaoke time with my friends, BOLANG. It was on Christmas, December 25. I spent my time with my friends Nuky, Eaz, Putri and Icing (bolang) to VOIZE karaoke at Kelapa gading, North Jakarta. That was our first time to sing in a real karaoke club, we used to karaoke on karaoke box (you know, karaoke box is a real box. With a 1 x 1,5 m space, with no air conditioner and we usually fit the box with 5 or 6 peoples. Can you imagine that ? hot, narrow space, uncomfort sheet). But we go into the next level of karaoke, went to the real karaoke club with air conditioned room, comfortable sheet, and cokes of course.

Third, had a evening prayer on New Year's eve with my family at home. Even I came home late that day, I supposed at home on 12am o clock, fact that the clock's nail showed at 12.10am. Despite my stupid late came to home, overall I had a great New Year's eve moment. We sang together, pray together, shake our hand each other, and did one-two 'mandok hata' each other, you know, the time when each member of family talking about what their wishes for the new year and what they've thank for 2009, we called it as 'mandok hata' or maybe in English it could translate as 'speech', isn't it ?

Fourth, Trip to Pramuka Island, Simpak Daun Island, etc on Thousand Islands area, Jakarta. Yup, another traveling. Me, my bolang's friends Eaz, Putri, Icing, and 8 friends of icing. So, total, 12 young persons did a trip to pramuka island. We went on January 1st, about 6.30am. No words could describe how fun we had on the island, so here I show you the pictures.

Fifth, treated by my sister, Maria. Two days a go, me, elyas and my friend - deddy were treated by my sister, Maria. Due her birthday on January 5th but she treated us a day earlier. First, eat at Cikini's restaurant, I forgot the restaurant's name, hell yeah, when it come to eat situation, I dont care about the name again, I care about my stomach and the foods. Then after bursting our stomach, we go to the theater to see 'Sherlock Holmes'. And about the movie ? wow, I must say that this is my first movie for this year, and it gave me such a big satisfaction. Yes, it is. Its a great movie, with a great actors, with a smart dialogues (you'll amazed with those brilliant dialogues), great story, well in fact I still found some minus point in this movie, but I don't know what it was.

Last but not least, I know its too late for me to say this, but still I want to say 'Merry Christmas and Happy New Year'. Well, thats it, my recap. Lot of laughs, you might think what a stupid recap, it should be a long recap, but what ? thats it ? sorry disappointed you guys, but its all. Enjoy reading my recap ^^

Janji SANG PEMIMPI

Sudah hampir 2 bulan lebih tidak posting dengan bahasa utama gue, bahasa Indonesia, akhirnya sekarang memutuskan untuk menulis lagi dalam bahasa Indonesia. Belakangan lebih sering menggunakan bahasa Inggris dalam penulisan di blog ini, bukan semata untuk unjuk kebolehan berbahasa Inggris gue yang bisa dibilang masih buruk, tapi semata-mata hanya sebagian dari proses pemupukkan percaya diri dan juga proses pembelajaran dalam menggunakan bahasa Inggris. Dalam postingan kali ini boleh dibilang spesial, spesial karena gue menggunakan bahasa Indonesia, spesial karena akan sedikit mengulas (atau paling tidak memberikan link trailer pilem SANG PEMIMPI) juga spesial karena gue akan menulis sebuah janji yang sudah gue buat dari beberapa tahun lalu, sampai sekarang masih gue pegang teguh juga sampai sekarang saya masih berjuang keras untuk mewujudkan mimpi gue tersebut.

Kita mulai sekarang ? Satu, dua dan ... mulai.

Tanggal 18 Desembert 2009, tepatnya jatuh di hari jumat kemarin (sekita jam 2-an). Gue dan teman-teman bolang mengadakan temu-kangen yang cukup singkat (menurut gue). Kronologisnya kurang lebih seperti ini :

Jam 13.55 : Gue sampai di TKP

Jam 14.10 : Nuky sampai di TKP

Jam 14,30 : Eaz sampai di TKP

Jam 14.45 : Putri sampai di TKP

Jam 14.55 : Nuky menelepon Jazz 'n sukro untuk datang menyusul

Jam 16.10 : Gue, Nuky, Eaz dan Putri ke dalam blok-m Plasa

Jam 16.10 - 17.05 : Ber-4 muter-muter gak jelas didalam blok-m plasa yang pada akhirnya terbawa ke lokasi karaoke-box di lantai 5.

Jam 17.20 : Jazz dan Sukro tiba di lokasi karaoke-box

Jam 17.40 : Mulai bernyanyi hingga + 40 menit selanjutnya

Jam 18.40 : Kami ber-6 Lanjut ke Blok-M square untuk membeli tiket bioskop SANG PEMIMPI

Jam 19.20 : Tiba di Blok-M Square bukannya menuju bioskop untuk beli tiket tapi langsung menuju ke parkiran lantai atas untuk merokok (yang merokok cuma gue dan nuky)

Jam 19.35 : Cacing a.k.a Dede Suherman tiba di Blok-M square dan mengajak (ups, maksud gue beliau bukan sekedar mengajak melainkan juga mentraaktir) kami makan di D'cost

Jam 20.20 : Ber-7 keluar dari D'cost dengan perut membesar dan kembali lagi menuju ke parkiran untuk merokok (sekali lagi, yang merokok cuma gue 'n nuky)

Jam 20.30 : Jazz 'n Sukro ijin ke barito karena tidak ikut nonton

Jam 20.37 : gue, nuky, eaz, putri 'n icing masuk ke dalam bisokop membeli tiket SANG PEMIMPI (yang mulainya jam 21.25)

Jam 21.25 : masuk ke dalam theater 1 dan mulai menonton SANG PEMIMPI

Jam 23.55 : Keluar bioskop

Oke, sampai disitu aja review kegiatan gue waktu tanggal 18 Desember 2009 bersama para bolang ^^

Sekarang fokus ke cerita di balik SANG PEMIMPI dan janji gue SANG PEMIMPI. Sang pemimpi adalah sekuel dari pilem pertama yang berjudul LASKAR PELANGI, pilem yang kedua ini lebih menceritakan kisah Ikal (sang karakter utama) semasa SMA bersama sepupunya Arai dan kawan barunya Jimbron. Ketiga tokoh utama dengan tiga sifat yang sangat berbeda. Ikal dengan karakter seorang yang pintar tapi sedikit apatis/pesimis, Arai yang selalu semangat, tersenyum dan tidak takut untuk mengambil resiko dan Jimbron yang mungkin paling bodoh diantara dua karakter utamanya, namun mempunyai mimpi yang sangat besar dan memiliki rasa persahabatan yang tinggi.

Ada satu kutipan yang gue sangat gue suka dari pilem ini, yaitu pada saat karakter Pak Balia berkata :

Yang penting dari mimpi, bukanlah seberapa besar mimpi itu, tapi sebesar apa kita untuk mimpi itu - Pak Balia

Sedikit bocoran, pada saat adegan dimana Ayahnya Ikal datang kesekolah dengan baju safari kebanggaannya untuk mengambil rapor Ikal, dan rapor Ikal hasilnya termaksud yang terbelakang. Sang ayah tidak marah, melainkan tetap tersenyum dan terus tersenyum disaat mengayuh sepedanya untuk kembali pulang kerumah. Gue menangis, menangis terharu. Itu yang terjadi kepada mata gue pada saat melihat adegan tersebut. Seketika itu juga gue teringat akan bapa gue. Bapa yang sudah 3 tahun lebih meninggalkan gue dan keluarga gue. Bapa yang semasa hidupnya sangat berjuang keras, sangat keras, untuk bisa menafkahi keluarga, seorang bapa yang sudah menjadi contoh yang sangat baik (setidaknya buat gue), Permin F. Tampubolon, dialah sang bapa terbaik yang pernah gue miliki selain Tuhan Yesus.

Masih terngiang dikepala, sebuah janji yang sudah lama gue janjikan kepada beliau. Janji yang masih gue ingat dan akan terus gue ingat, hingga pada akhirnya janji tersebut tercapai. Pertama kali gue lontarkan janji itu pada saat duduk di bangku SMP, gue bilang ke bapa gue 'Pak, tau gak ? suatu hari nanti gue pasti bisa pergi ke Amerika dan menjadi orang sukses'. Bapa gue bilang 'Bah, hebat kali angan-anganmu nak, amin, Bapa doain kamu bisa'. Janji itu terus dan terus gue ucapin sewaktu bapa gue masih hidup. Dan saat ini, saat gue duduk dibangku putih tepat didepan laptop gue mengetik, janji itu belum juga gue tepati. Entah kapan janji itu akan gue wujudkan, tapi yang pasti gue tahu kalau Gue adalah Sang Pemimpi yang tidak hanya bermimpi tapi juga berusaha mewujudkan mimpi gue itu semua. Perjalanan gue belum berakhir, mimpi gue belum berakhir, semua akan terus berlangsung dan gue akan terus bermimpi juga terus berusaha mewujudkannya pada dalam waktu yang bersamaan. Karena gue percaya akan mimpi gue, dan gue percaya kalau gue bisa mewujudkan itu semua.

Ting.Tong. its time to put a new post on this blog about Best of 2009 Blog Challenge. Three topics I have to post today, the topics are :

So, let's we start the post. First, change I made to the place I live ? Hum, i dont think I've made a or some change(s) in my place. But, let me think..humm..nothings big I guess, but I think the best change I've done was installing christmas tree couple days a go. I did it by my self, when most member my family seems like didnt gave some attention to this christmas, I'm the one who still has what people always say 'christmas spirit', so I went installed the christmas tree and put it in the living room. Not so big christmas tree, yet not too small. Oh yea, a little sad maybe, the tree has no christmas lamp. Yea, I know, christmas tree without lamp sound like a crap, but it still a good christmas tree though. Well, I hope there's still a christmas spirit in my house for this year, hope.

Now, let get in a rush write what my best rush in this 2009 ? it was build my photography business with my friend and my brother. It was only a month discussion before finally we amde our own photography. Still a big scale of course, with only one camera, one pc, three employee (which are me, my friend and my brother), less of fame, but we are believe that we can bring it into the next level of business world. So far we have 2 clients only, first we done the photography session on last november and another on next april. We still in our process to reach the top of business level. Challenge, Album Of The Year, The Best Place and New Food

Wow, its already December 12th, 2009, 2 inthe morning actually here, in my country. I'm sitting infront of the laptop to post 4 topics for The Best of 2009 Blog Challenge. Its too late, or not ? Ok, I admit that I'm 2 days behind from the date I supposed to post for this blog challenge. Wanna know the reason ? I'm too busy (or looks busy) for my new blog on tumblr.com. Yup, I made new blog on tumblr.com with url nandogino. I made it about 4 days ago, than the situation suddenly come, I'm enjoy my new blog too much (well, its normal right ? isn't it ? we're just too hapy/too much enjoy for our new stuff). Lucky me (well, it should 'lucky for blogger.com'), my brain wake me and told me to post something on my blogspot blog.

Due I have to post 4 themes at once, I will make it a quick post.

First topic, about challenge. My big challenged for this year was my backpacker'style trip to Bali with my bolang friends. 1.398,3 km, total distances we spent. With economic train (train in jakarta is far different with train that you have in new york, tokyo or somewhere else. I must admit train here in Indonesia far from clean, far from proper facilities, etc) from Station Senen to Surabaya, then we continued our trip with mini travel bus to kuta, bali. Bring less money than it should, less preparation, had breakfast on lunch time, and had lunch+dinner on dinner time, the worst thing (but for me the best thing) was had an one night sleep on the beach (due lack of money). Even with much pains we shared on this trip, but we considered the trip was the best we ever had in this 2009. We learned lot of things, from waiting something, faced our hunger (now we know what the orphans on the street felt when they would fain untill die only for a handfull of rice ), and so many more I have learnt from our trip to bali.

Second topic, Album of the year. What's rocking your world? I will say Agnes Monica's newest album called 'Sacredly Agnezious' was the best album I ever heard for this year. Great singer from Indonesia. For you who haven't hear about her songs yet, please come to agnezone.com for further info about her songs and her news.

Third, The best place. Humm,, I consider the best place is as the best place for hang out. So, i will give my award for best place of 2009 to Ayodya Barito Park, South Jakarta, Indonesia. Its a public park. I usually go there on the weekend with my friends.

Now, last but not the least for today, best New Food for 2009. Doesn't want to be such a self adorer, but I'll say my cooked called 'omlete keju' in english it means 'omelette cheese'. But my 'omelette cheese' definitely different from american or europe's omelette. The best part from my omelette, the omelette is mixed from noodle and egg with cheese as topping. How with the taste ? hemmm,,its so yummy.

Its 8 in the morning here in Jakarta, Indonesia. I just get up from my bed nad had some breakfast. Now its time for me to post The Best of 209 Blog Challenge. Due yesterday I didnt post about this challenge, so today I'll post two themes at once.

First, What blog find of the year for me ? Well, without hesitation I'll say 20sb.net as my best blog find for 2009. I even can't remember how can my finger found this amazing social network site. I just remembered that I was on my way about blog walking (If I aint wrong, it was on may I found 20sb). Soon after I saw this social network, I registered and start enjoy explore the site. Lot things I got from 20sb.net, I got more blog'friends, I got place to promote my blog, my blog got more readers and of course I learn free about english (all members speak with english language, in other words it forced me to learn more about english). Despite, 20something blogger is the best social network for those who blogging and age under 30. With 9,000 more members joined the site, the right place to promote your blog, discuss topic with other members, and get some giveaways ? Please, admit it, you tempted to see and join this social network, dont you ?

Stop being like a sycophant, promoting 20sb too much. Time to move to the second theme, Moment of peace. I would say September was my best moment of peace. That time, I did yoga almost every day, and I enjoyed my yoga days. I love yoga very much, its not only made me healthier, but it also keep our body more relaxed and flexible. Of course I can say that yoga is a cheap sport, we can do this at home and need no big space. Unfortunately, I'm kind a moody guy, I stopped yoga on November, but thanks Jesus, now I get my mood again, so I do my yoga back.

Christmas Celebration + Blog Challenge 2009::Night Out and Workshop

Yesterday was christmas celebration from Tiberias Church, held on Gelora Bung Karno, Senayan, Jakarta. Its kind like a biggest christmas celebration ever in Indonesia (maybe). I went there with my sister - Ida Susilowati and my brother - Elyas Tampubolon. Its been almost 5 years we didnt go for christmas celebration together. Wll, you can call its like a christmas reunion for us. There are two guest star in that night, one is grammy winner for best traditional gospel album, Israel Houghton and Ps. Peter Youngren. That night was so crowded, can you imagine ? a football stadium with 88,083 capacity transformed as christmas celebration spot. Totally crowded, lot of yell and claps, but still, even there's so crowded at that night, I have my one favourite moment. When there was time for lit up the candle and sanf 'o holy night'. All lamps on stadium off, one by one candle started glow and shine. Here's picture below that showed view from my favourite moment at that christmas night.

How ? dont you think it was incredible ? More than 50,000 candles are flared up and glow look like they were fireflies.

Stop about my christmas celebration, continue to The Best of 2009 Blog Challege, now I'll post two days theme at once. First, about my best night out. It was a night with all my Mig33 friends (like Eaz, Bayu, Ceiban, Ecko, and many more) at Hard Rock Cafe, Jakarta on July 5th, 2009. Crazy night, not only for gathered with more than 100 friends from Mig33, but sure because I represented my group won (2nd winner actually) on 'kicking competition' , also we all treated by Steven Goh (CEO of Mig33) , not only a portion of steak or a glass of juice, but we treated 'all we can it' menu from Hard Rock Cafe.

About workshop, the best workshop I attended was on Indonesian Consumunity Expo 2009, November 21st, 2009, Jakarta. The workshop held on Indonesian Mac Club Booth, its about how to do a great presentation to clients. For sample, they gave Steve Jobs presentation when him present IPhone for Apple's new product to the world. I thank that I attended to this workshop, so made me understant about giving a good presentation to clients. Unfortunately I have no my pictures from that workshop.

I'll give the award to The Secret. Its about presents what is claimed to be a centuries-old idea, the pseudo-scientific Law of Attraction, which in essence is the power of an individual's positive thinking to change and influence outcomes in their lives (wikipedia). I love the main idea about this book, you know, i think it so make sense that if we think positive, then the good thing also will come to us. Its all about power minding, how good you control your mind (i mean in positive), then the universe will give the good income to us. So, please, control your mind in a good way to get best what will universe give to you. KEEP POSITIVE THINKING !!

10 Things I Want For Christmas

YEHAAAA,,its december, okay i bet you already know what make december special for me (or even for over million people in the world). Yup, your guess is right, its christmas what makes december is so special. Christmas, not only about celebrate Jesus Christ birthday, but its all about gather together with whole family, eat ? yes. chit-chat ? yes cooking ? yes. and so many other fun yet great stuffs i usually did with my family on christmas time. Of course, christmas is all about make some wish or maybe make some new resolution for the next year, and these are what all i want for christmas (new resolution for the next year later will post when december 31st is right in front of my eyes) :

First, In this Christmas, I want all my family (sisters, brothers, nephew, niece, n mom) could gather together to have some fun at home. Its a must..

Second, I wanna have a new (or second) GSM Mobile Phone. Want it badly,,please, santaclause, if u read it, dont forget to come on chirstmas night to my room, i'll let it open for You >,<

Third, I want have an (or some) holiday. Traveling, ohhh,,everytime i heard that word, make me feels like 'so turn on'. I love, really-really love trveling.

Fourth, Going to 'sensi' to buy some new (ups, i mean second) christmas outfits (for sure, I want jacket/sweater, jeans and santaclause's costume). I hate mall for shopping, its better go to the market to buy one or two pieces of christmas outfits.

Fifth, Some new books for my reading.

Sixth, have some money to buy domain for my blog, its 2 months left bfore my free domain end >,<

Seventh, have some signs what should I do for living

Eighth, a new softlense maybe ?!?

Ninth, a new hair color / style ?!?

My adventure to Cilember Waterfall

It happen on last friday November 27, 2009. My self, Deddy and Bornok dida a trip to Cileumber waterfall, which located on Bogor, West Java, Indonesia. At first, about 3 or 4 days before the day, we did some discussion (with hirman and ata too) about the trip with others. From our discussion, we suppose to did the journey with Hirman's car to Ciater (its a public , but unfortunately hirman canceled a day before d-day. Its made me and bornok crazy, we are people who badly wanted to do a traveling, and heard that cancelation from hirman forced us to made an alternative plan. Thought so hard, finally we agreed to go to Cileumber waterfall by bus, in that moment, its like there's nothing cant stop our strong desire to have some fun.

A little bit information, this waterfall has 7 level of its waterfall, first waterfall we met from entrance called as 7th waterfall or in bahasa 'curug ke tujuh' and the top we called as 1st waterfall, in bahasa 'curug pertama'. From the 7th waterfall to the 1st waterfall took about 2 or 3 hours, and I'm proud, that me and my friends success reached to the highest waterfall, 1st waterfall. Well here we are (i mean our pictures) from our great-great-great adventure to Cileumber waterfall :

Happy Eid Al-adha, ThanksGiving - someone give laptop ?!?

First of all, I would like to say 'Happy Idul Adha for those who celebrate it, and also Happy Thanks Giving for those American'. Yes, today is Idul Adha for muslims. Time to get on together with whole big families, time for eat cow and goat meat, its a celebration for muslims. Even I'm not muslim, yes, still I want to congrats my friends, 'cause many of my friends are muslims and I love them all, so I have to appreciate them too. Eid al-adha reminds me during my elementary, when a day before Eid Al-adha came, I usually go with all my friends to mosque near my school to accompanied them for 'takbiran', of course I didnt come in to the mosque with them, but I waited near from mosque untill my friends finish their pray. After that, we continued our day to playing around, well I mean walked around trace our neighborhood.

Couple minutes ago, when I'm tweeted about Idul Adha and Thanks Giving, I log on and browsed 20somethingblogger. I found one member made me suprise with his cool blog, he wrote on his blog 'Oprah Gives Car, I give laptops - Get Yours!'. Today, I'm so suprised when check my blog from the expo event I attended this afternoon, and see comment from my friend that he gave me an awards, he called the award for me as 'blogger award community'. Its kind like, uh, what ? I got an award? Is it real ? I'm so thank to God, with this award, made me feel happy, 'cause I think with someone's giving we award, that someone like reading into our blog and it seems like we've giving something for their daily life, isn't it ? or I just act too much for this award ? LOL, but sure, this award is mean for me, for my blogging activities, for my writing activities, and so on. Make me say to my own self that I must do better and better every day, everytime, every second.

Ups, dont you forget about something in this post ? Yea, I no mention yet the friend who gave me the award. Edwin Prasetio, thats the name who's giving award to me. Day Heroes Nov-10-2009 and 2012 :: Quote of the week #7

Yesterday I just watched 2012, movie about how and when the world is going to face it 'rest-in-peace' or in the movie they called it was the world expired (lol, cause when I saw this text 'expired', reminds me to the canned-food with expired date). Okay, I'll talk about this movie next, here first I want to talk about my country celebrated Day Heroes on last Tuesday, November 10, 2009.

Day Heroes, for me is a symbolization day to give our respect to our lated-heroes, give them an honor, do not put behind what they did for the country, we have to keepin their struggled in the past into our heart so we can push our selves to continuing their struggle in this modern day. Day Heroes also show that we already have our independence, we are a free man, we should dare to say to the world that we are no longer colonized by any country. Those were on my mind when I thought about Day Heroes, but nowdays I got a little bit angry and disappointed by many of Indonesian youth generation who say Indonesia still have no independence and say that Indonesia still under colonized by our own country, well I found these kind opinion from twitter and facebook status update. I just wonder, they are Indonesia, but they are talking shit about their own country. If we talk it from the psychological aspects, the more you say negatives about something, the more that 'something' become that negatives words. So, the more you say you are freedomless, the more that opinion will come to the reality. We have to change our mind-set from negativity into the positive mind-set.

For another example, I hate the 'phenomenon' in now young generation about calling someone. They like to call other people with 'gan' or 'bos'. You know ? 'gan' word is the short from 'juragan' or in English we used to call it as 'skipper' and 'bos' in English mean 'boss'. I cant accept this phenomenon called in young generation, well, actually its fine that we call others like 'boss' or 'master' or 'skipper' as long as they are our real master, boss or something, but here in my country they call their friends with this nickname, even to those one who they are just met. Can you imagine ? from this called show that young generation dont have mental as a leader, and for me, this young generation attitude have to be change. 'Coz I believe in the power of words, we will be positive if we say positive words, inversely, we will be negative if we say only negative words.

Okay, stop talking about Heroes Day in my country, Indonesia. Now lets move on to the 2012 topic. Yes, I've watched this movied yesterday, and I'll say this is not a stupid movie just because its cliche story about the end of the world (of course with modernity style), although, we cant say this is a great movie too, let me say it was only a good movie, so-so. If I may rate this movie, I'll rate 5 stars from 10. There are reasons why I seems didnt like this movie :

1. From years ago untill today, I dont like the 'end of the world' theme for movies. I dont like the way of people try to predict about something will happen in the future. Its a big - big - big No Good Story.

2. It is soooo hollywood movie typical and soo United State movie, , with the extra 'lebay' (mean 'too much' in English). When Curtis and the family drive the car try reach to the airplane that Curtis rent, how can they keep save from the earthquake in the meantime others around their car were crashed and falled into the ground ? I just cant believe this extra 'too much' scene. Second, when Curstis asked by Adrian to fix something on the back machine, he did it and made it, why he have to be saved ? why he have to be the one who get applaused ? also with the big effect when the earthquake and tsunami hitted the earth, for me the effect is too much and too american style. No offend for those who comes from US. Why I can say this is so United State movie ? the u.s president didnt come into the 'noah-ark', but prefer to live among with his citizens to face the end of the world. In my opinion, this scene just trying to show the world that United State's leaders are wise, kind and care to their citizens. Also when G-8 leaders gathered to vote about the mission, why uls the one who shoul

Well, even I've said this movie was so-so, but I love one quote from this movie, and I have to say 'agree' to this quote : 'The moment we stop fighting for each other, thats the moment we lose our humanity'. Soon when Adrian say this dialogue I kept nodding my head which mean I agree with his dialogue. So, if you are human or at least want to called as human, please stop being individualist and start to care for each other, start to look around and help people who need our help.

Last Technical Meeting for ICE 2009

Yesterday morning was the last technical meeting I attended for Indonesian Consumunity Expo 2009 with Prasetya Mulya Business School and around 140 consumunity. Technical meeting with the organizer and other community sounds like a great experienced I have. One-two things I love from joining this expo as a committee is meet new peoples, meet new experience and also expanding my friendship-link. For information, I'm a committee from mig33rs Indonesia Community and we included into Zone of Games and Technology. This expo will be our first as a participant, but even we are new for this expo, the organizer entrust us (Mig33rs Community) as a PIC (Personal in Charge) who responsible for Zone of Games and Technology on D-day. Its like compliment for our community for being entrusted to be PIC for the Zone of Games and Technology.

The expo it self will held on November 21 and 22, 2009. Starts from 9am and will close about 10pm, sponsored by KOMPAS GRAMEDIA, SWA Media INc, Smart FM, Metro TV, Yamaha Indonesia and BCA, also supported by Warta Kota, Tabloid OTOMOTIF, MOTOR Magazine, Tabloid BOLA, Tabloid Bolavaganza and Tabloid Gaya Hidup Sehat.

Just saw littleinsomniaclolita's twitter status, she wrote about new post on her blog. Then I clicked to her blog, read about 20SB Blog Carnival. After read her post, I'm thinking to join the blogger carnival. I clicked 20sb blog to find out the details about this such a great topic carnival.

So all I have to do is write down what things I can't live without (for now or at least next 10 years maybe), here are my lists :

1. My Mom, i dont count my whole family but only my mom. Why ? I don't know, but when my dad passed away couple years a go, nothing happened with me or my life. No such a great sadness happened, no such a great loss feeling, not such a big deal for me live without dad. Different with mom, I felt like I'm so lonely/oprhan child if she leave me. She's like my vitamin to walk on my live, to reach my success and to be a better man than before.

2. My black jeans-pants. LOL. But its true. I got this pants from my oldest sister, Hera and soon became my favourite jeans. If you seeing my pictures on my flickr you'll see the black jeans always covered my waist-to-toe.

3. BOLANG mig33. My friends, we all met first from online community Mig33 untill to the reality world. We've been through a lot of things, sad, happy even flat feelings. The most crazy things, we did backpacker journey to thousand island, yogyakarta, solo and also bali, once again with backpacker style, less money just togetherness feeling.

4. Blogging, Tweeting and Facebook(ing ?!). New way to get have fun in online's world.

5. Last but not least, Cigarette (I smoke Sampoerna A-Mild). Yea, I know this is a fuc*ing murder thing, but for sure I can't live without this thing, at least not know (or even the next 10 years). Just FYI, most of my time blogging always accompanied by cigarette. What a real best friend, right ?

JavaSoulNation + Car Free Day

This time my post will about my finally came to javasoulnation festival (its the biggest festival hip-hop, rap, rnb, and soul genre music in indonesia) and also will about my finally came to sudirman street (central jakarta) to join a weekly car free day (from 5am to 2pm).

First, I'll tell you my big effort to watch the festival music. I woke up at 5 in the morning, then I do some exercises, cleaning my self to the bathroom, had a breakfasted untill 8am. From 8am, I turned on my brother's notebook so I did browse untill 1.30pm. In 1.30pm I groomed my self for prepared to go to the festival music. Wasting my waiting time with smoking some ciggaretes untill 2pm, I move my ass to meet my friend, aymi to ride away together to the festival by bus. The funny is, I lost my direction to the meeting point, I missed the meeting point place, so I have to turn back again and spend more money for transportation cost. Four passed twenty-minutes, me and my friend aymi arrived on istora senayan (where the festival music helded).

Watched (in series) Maliq n d'essentials, IndonesiaUnite RISE, Sevensoul, Dira J.Sugandi, Aditya, Ndeesaster, Musiq Soulchild, Bondan Prakoso and last Soulvibe. I don't know and care what people's opinion, but for me, the festival yesterday was good only, not great or even will not make visitors will remember the festival in long periode as in future. If I may rate the festival, I will give 6 points (from 10 points), but still there are some performers did a great job, they were Maliq n d'essentials, IndonesiaUnite RISE, Musiq Soulchild, Ndeesaster, Dira and Sevensoul. How bout the rest ? hummm,,let me say they are all SUCK, should learn to the school music first so could try to perform (no offense for their fans). A little bit information, after watched SevenSoul, my friend, Eaz arrived to the festival, and joined me and aymi.

Okay enough for the standard-rated music festival which positioning their selves as the biggest (maybe looked from the stage, number of artists and sponsors they got) but show no big, really disappointed me. Now I'll tell story after the festival. Aymi went home around 12pm, so only me and eaz still continued the day(s) from festival to barito park (blok-m, south jakarta) untill 5 in the morning. After that, we continued our freaky-sleepy-dizzy journey to Sudirman Street just to loose our curious about weekly car free day. So, there we were from six pass thirty minutes untill 10 in the morning at the sudirman street. We walked the street, self potraited each other, watched old bicycle community right in front of Hyatt Hotel, also we put our signature on petition's banner about keep support KPK (komisi pemberantasan korupsi).

Today and Yesterday, are really-really-really made me tired, dizzy yet felt great.

Now, what all I want to do after 2 busy-dizzy-crazy days is SLEEP thightly. Thanks.

Inspired, took up the glove in fact, by Ben, man who manage blog called no ordinary roller coaster. Its about couple months a go when I read his blog, its amazed me read his post titled 'Dabbling in Drabbling'. The thing amazed me was this post about writing something, could be poetry, fiction story, nonfiction story, etc, but one ruled we all have to go with is the word not more than 100 words. Actually, writing 100 words story is not a big deal if I wrote with my primary language 'Bahasa', but to taste the challenge more difficult I decided to try wrote my 100 words story with English, despite I thought it good to improve my English writing ability. He look over on his success and thank to day on ten years ago, a day made him have more spirit, thank to people who underestimated, averted their eyes, and punched on him, those things make him stronger and more spirit walking on his life. ‘Shadow, shooting will began ten minutes again’, said black-hat man with pen and piled of paper on his hand and with a big smile on his face, rabbit say ‘okay’. The rabbit is superstar now.

Melanjuti tulisan gue beberapa bulan yang lalu Belajar Nulis Eps. 2. Cukup lama sejak postingan gue yang episode ke dua tersebut, lebih tepatnya 60 hari lamanya gue tidak melanjuti postingan #Belajar Nulis. Sekarang, hari Jumat, tanggal 23 Oktober 2009, pukul empat lewat 29 menit gue masih saja belum berbaring di kasur gue yang empuk dan nyaman untuk tidur. Masih tetap melek untuk ber-internet-ria dengan laptop yang masih pinjeman (punya abang gue James). Bertemankan dengan rokok sampoerna mild dan setengah gelas air putih es dan kipas angin, gue tetap bersemangat melakukan kegiatan online seperti facebook-an, twitter-an, googling, ym-ing (atau ym-an. ngakak.) dan tentunya blogging. Mengacu pada judul postingan gue yaitu Belajar Nulis, gue selalu dan selalu mencoba untuk menulis mulai dari hal yang gak penting banget sampai hal yang sangat penting banget, proses-proses ataupun ide-ide dalam penulisan setiap tulisan gue entah kenapa hampir semua keluar dari otak gue pada malam hari atau lebih tepatnya subuh hari. Di saat semua orang rumah gue udah terlelap dalam bunga tidur mereka, saat (mungkin) air liur sudah menetes dari mulut mereka, di saat itulah gue semangat (atau tidak semangat) untuk menulis, seperti contoh menulis blog, menulis di kertas, meng-update status facebook/twitter, blogwalkin + drop comments on others blog, dan lain sebagainya.

Malam hari, sudah menjadi sangat bersahabat dengan gue. Untuk tidak tidur malam pun sudah bukan hal yang aneh lagi buat gue. Bermula pada saat dulu di Bali, sempat bekerja di salah satu tempat club malam dan juga hotel, yang mana gue bekerja shift malam pulang pagi. Juga saat gue bekerja di salah satu maskapai penerbangan sebagai call-center staff sering mendapat bagian lembur hingga pagi, dan gue menikmatinya (disamping mendapat lemburan, keesokannya juga mendapatkan libur. sangat pantas untuk dinikmati bukan ?). Dikarenakan pengalaman bekerja gue tersebutlah gue sangat terbiasa dengan yang namanya bergadang tidak tidur sampai pagi dan gue merasa senang dan menikmati hal itu. Gue merasa pada saat di kesunyian malam hari, pikiran dalam kepala gue dapat bebas bersuara tanpa harus ada seorang yang mengganggu. Saat malam hari pula gue bisa menikmati suara-suara disekitar gue, misalkan suara angin yang berhembus, suara detak jarum jam, suara kucing di atap genteng, suara air menetes di rumah tetangga, dan suara-suara lain yang menurut gue sangat indah gue dengar pada saat suara itu menyatu dengan heningnya malam hari, membuat peristiwa yang kontras namun indah.

Lalu apakah ada barang yang harus gue sediain atau persiapin saat gue mulai menulis di malam hari ? Ya, tentu saja. Tidaklah menyatu bila hanya ada malam hari, gue dan laptop (kertas/pulpen) untuk memulai kata-kata yang akan gue tulis. Gue (hampir) selalu menyiapkan rokok sampoerna-mild merah, segelas air putih es, flasdisk berisi playlist music dan juga korek untuk menyalakan rokok tentunya. Saat semua barang yang gue sebutin sudah terkumpul, disitulah otak gue mulai bergulat memikirkan banyak hal yang kemudian menyaring banyak hal tersebut menjadi sebagian hal yang layak dan memang pengen gue tulis.

Bagaimana dengan kalian ? kapankah biasanya waktu yang tepat untuk kalian menulis ? adakah barang yang wajib ada saat anda menulis selain kertas/pulpen atau komputer ?

First I'll tell you why I post this. Inspired by my friend's blog Herding Cats who posted about her sickies! and songs that make her day up from the a dumpster-dragged day. I start thinking on my head about my weakness situation, I'm thinking, do I have songs on my awful day ?. Soon, I'm start looking on my playlist, searching wheter if there is/are song(s) could be my spirit-generator song(s) when I stand on cracky days. The answer, hei-hei-hei, yea, I have song that could be my spirit-generator or picking me up from dumpster-dragged day, not only a song, but 2 songs.

YM! chat with my best friends

I've just got a funny yet a great moment with my YM! . A few minutes a go, I logged on to my Yahoo Messenger account, and soon after I logged on, 4 of my best friends chat on me. First I chatted with my sister, not my real sibling, but either me or her already regards each of us as a sibling, so I called her 'kak' (it mean sister in English), Novita Sari Harahap or use to called Nope as her nickname. Chit chat about her coming on November, planning to hire my photography company to took pictures of her and a friend of her. She ask about gothic and japanese-style as the concept. I say yes to her, and start discussed about others like price, wadrobe, location, etc.

Second chat session, there is Deddy Samuel Hutahaean, my high-school's mate. Like we always did before, we chat just about to giving joke each other, and by the end of our conversation he asked what should he use (drink or eat) to make his eyes open longer than should, to make unslumber at the night, so I gave him a few of advices to him.

Last but not least, my conference chat with Eaz and Metha, I called them as e.e and memet. First we talked about our plan to build business cooperation between us. Second and others, we talked about anything, about blogging, people, about food, etc.

Those stories about my funny yet great moment YM! chat today. I thank to God still giving me and my friends time to chat. Sometimes, as humanbeing, we easily to not thank God about great moments that looks simply we have. From now on, I will force my self to always thank God about everything God have done to my life, either happy or sorrow.

You were mean nothing to me and still mean nothing to me or even to the world you have nothing, so, please, do not even try to think, compare your self to me, 'coz believe me, you'll hurted when you know that the asnwer is my self is bigger, smarter, ritcher and even more famous (LOL) than all of you. But its fine, if you still make a big laugh on your ass-face, enjoy your time, time for your mouth-ass to laugh as bigger as you want. How about me ? chill, I'll take a seat now, keep my eyes staring down on you with your idiocy acts, i'll pay attention to that idiocy, the one you are happy to have it. So, once again, please (ups, how many times I've wrote the 'please' word huh ? dont you think that I'm too polite even to all my 'best-friends', do you ? Tribute to Batik and Halal Bihalal with Mig33rs - October 2nd, 2009

Finally, Batik officially announced by UNESCO as World Heritage from Indonesia on October 2nd 2009, yesterday.

Yea, akhirnya batik resmi diakui sebagai warisan budaya dari Indonesia oleh UNESCO. Peresmian oleh UNESCO ini berlangsung tepat di Dubai, Abu Dhabi, untuk lebih lengkapnya berita ada di KOMPAS.com. Gue dan teman-teman komunitas Mig33 Jakarta, atau biasa disebut Mig33rs juga mengadakan sebuah acara dengan titel 'tribute to BATIK dan halal bihalal mig33rs', bertempat di lapangan panahan senayan Jl. Asia Afrika, Jakarta. Dengan sedikit persiapan dan dana, kegiatan yang berlangsung tepatnya pukul 4 sore tanggal 2 Oktober, 2009, Sabtu dapat dikatakan cukup berhasil.

Photosession with my brother Elyas Tampubolon, and with my friends Deddy Hutahaean, Hirman Hutagalung and Dewi Maria Stephanie. This photosession due to my brother and my friend Deddy want to launch their photgraphy project called HUTA HITA Fotografia, so they used me and the two of my friend as a model to made their portfolio for promotion needs.

For this session, we took KOTA TUA (west jakarta) as the location. Model was my self, hirman hutagalung and dewi maria stephanie. The photographers are my brother Elyas Tampubolon along with Deddy Hutahaean. For the editor, picture number one to six edited by Elyas Tampubolon, and for seven to twelve edited by me, Nando Tampubolon.

I'm so addicted to game application on facebook called 'brain buddies' lately, from the name we know the game indicate about things related to gain or improve our brain activities. The game is similiar to psykotest pre-job interview, testing us about our memory, our logic, count skill and also our visualization skill. First time when I played the game I got 1700-something as my scores, but then I try, try, try again, now I got scores 2,954. I'm the highest among 7 of my friends who also took the game.

September 09th, 2009, what an unique day huh ? what and why do I posting today ? The answer is today is my birthday, and I just wanna say happy birthday to my self (sounds like weird greetings on my self), but this is my blog so I'll do whatever I wanna do, right ?

Now, I'm 22 years old, seems like a young guy for everybody, but I feel so old like I'm forthy or fifthy somethin. Today I found my self should say a big-big-big-big ( i'll write 1 million time if its possible, lol) thanks to my saviour, the only one who I believe on, He is my Jesus Christ. I can say that I'll be nothing on my birthday (even on my whole life) without His present in my life. Thats the first I thank to. Second, I would like to say thank you to my parents, my lated father and also my lovely mom, thanks for all their kindness on me and sorry for my badness for all this time, I'm promise I'll be a better person than yesterday. Third, I would like to say to all my siblings, my 2 of siters and 2 of my brothers, Hera, Maria, James and Juara, you all the one who always support me, and trustin me, no matter what people thinking about me, no matter how bad I am, no matter how tricky (oops,, did I say tricky, oh yea, i am a man with thousand tricks, it could be in a positive way or even in a negative), I will no trade all of you with everything world will give to me, cause I believe I can't get siblings better than you all. Oh my God, day walked so fast lately on me. Its saturday now, and didnt realise thursday has passed, the day for my 'Quote of the week #' post. Better late then nothing, so, what is my Quote about for this week ? I got this quote first from my friend's facebook profile, he wrote 'Do our best, let God do the rest'.

Very oldschool quote, but a very deep meaning quote. Everytime I read or remembered it, it conscious of I'm only a humanbeing who will always needs God guide my way. Needs God, it doesn't mean only pray, pray and pray all the time to get what we want, but we have to try our best, cause I believe endeavor without pray will be nothing, and so with pray without endeavor will be a big zero.

Yes it is. The battle has just begun between me and my brother James Tampubolon. Its about body-shaping battle, so, my brother challenge me who's gonna faster to have a near-to-sixpacks body, me or him. I answered his challenge yes but with one condition, the winner will get nokia E63 as the prize from the looser. Its kind like suprised me he agree with my condition, and we dealed three months as a dealine and our brother Juara as the judge. So, the result will be held on November 25th, 2009 and our home as the place to announce it.

Ndeesaster, Rising Hip-hop Star in Indonesia

If you think hip-hop is a crappy and suck music and if you think that Indonesia can't-didn't have a good hip-hop singer. You better think it over and over again. Indonesian rising hip-hop star, who born named Andhari Z Sidharta, but known as Ndeesaster - her stage's name. 21 Years old girl, a talented girl on hip-hop music industry. Here is one of her song that I got from youtube.

Her taste on music, her well pronounced english, her style and her thought blended become one word, so talented. First time I know about this singer, when I did blog-walked in my leisure time. I found social-network blog www.20sb.net, blog content all things about 20 something blogger, a place for 20something blogger to share their thought and make friendship among them. First I saw this social-network blog, soon I registered my name and become a member. Not long after I registered, Ndeesater put a comment on my profile and give some welcome-words, then I checked her profile and found her music there. First I heard her song, I have no idea she is indonesian, but then I read her profile more, suprised me she is indonesian (cause from herlook, she look more like an arabian look
blend with thailand or philipino's look).

Hearing her music for the first time, love her music at the same time. I've heard three of her songs, and if I may rate her music, I'll rate 4 from 5 stars.Definetely a must have on your mp3 player songs.
